Hello there! My name is Fernando, and I bring lots of profession playing and teaching experience to the table. I am an active musician in several local bands of various styles and genres, including jazz bands, latin jazz bands, sax quartets, church groups, and musicals. I have played across southern California, several other states including Nevada (Reno Jazz Festival), Portugal, and Mexico.

I am also an active woodwind teacher for various high schools across southern California, as well as a marching/visual coach for marching bands.

I am in the process of finishing my first album, I manage my own band, yet I still manage to dedicate lots of time and effort to my students and make sure that I am always doing my best to see them succeed.

I can teach everything from jazz, to classical, rock, blues, latin genres (salsa, merengue, bolero, mambo, etc.), and even contemporary Christian music in both English and Spanish.

Music has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old, when my father would record my brother and I singing. I always loved singing and learned many of my favorite songs as a child.

I started playing the trumpet in the 4th grade, which has led me all the way to receiving my degrees in Trumpet Performance and Music Education! I was lucky enough to attend one of the nation's top music schools, The Peabody Institute, and I now work toward my Master's degree at California State University, Long Beach. I have enjoyed performing in everything from big-band-lead to principal trumpet in the orchestra, leading brass quintets and brass ensembles, and much more! The trumpet has been a huge passion for as long as I can remember now!

Since graduating from the Percussion Institute of Technology (PIT) in 1989 I have given over 12,000 private lessons to students of all ages!! I have recorded several albums, toured around the globe and taught at drumming events across the country.

I teach all styles of contemporary drum set and marching snare drum.

In 2010, I was named "Educator of the Year" by the drumming web site "United Groove Workers".

I am experienced with special needs students (autism, down syndrome) and children as young as 4 years old.

Restilito Bagaygay received his Bachelor’s of Music from California State University, Long Beach,
under the tutelage of Craig Richey. During this time, he was awarded the Daniel Cariaga scholarship
and the Certificate of Achievement in Keyboard Studies. Resli is the regional winner of the 2013
MTAC Concerto Competition, collegiate division, and will be representing Southern California at

My name is Jason, and I'm a music/percussion/composition major at Cypress College. But lets try not to be so formal (that's what all the information below is for). In reality, I'm just an experienced drummer/percussionist who's looking to take on a few students to help and teach, and have some fun along the way. Not to say I can't be professional and formal when necessary, but that's not how I am all the time. Hi my names Joel, I have been playing musical instruments since I was in the 6th grade. I'm coming up on my 11th year of playing. I started off with Clarinet, and I'm now in the Metal scene going around and gigging with some of the most talented musicians in the scene. Hey music lovers! I'm Andrew C., more popularly known as AC. I have been studying, performing, and coaching music since the tender age of 9. My weapons of choice are both trumpet and voice. I have been a student of the drums myself for 17 years. I started like many musicians have, learning to play a musical instrument in the school orchestra. I picked up some drum sticks and haven't put them down since. My favorite styles of music are funk and rock. I have studied orchestral drumming, drumset, and music theory for 2 years at the university level. I love to teach and finding ways of making drumming easy to understand. I currently play with 2 bands and record whenever an opportunity arises.

I started my music education at the age of 7, at the Odessa College of Music in Ukraine. At age 16 I was accepted to the highly prestigious Odessa University of Music, where later I received my Degree in Piano, summa cum laude, with the qualifications of Piano Teacher and Concertmaster. I then decided to further my education and take a 2 year Piano Performance course at the Odessa Conservatory. For over 25 years thereafter, I am teaching students of all ages. I look to develop problem solving, multi-tasking and other intangible life skills for my younger students through the power of music. For my adult students, I look to reduce stress and keep their brains working like new. Regardless of age, I work very hard to improve all of my student's memory, brain function, coordination and most importantly teach them how to simply have fun!

I've been teaching students for over 20 years, playing all styles and levels of music, from day-one beginners to seasoned pros seeking to sharpen their playing skills. I teach both traditional notation and tablature, writing my own teaching methods in both formats. I earned a B.A. in Music Composition and an A.A. in music theory, and have worked as a professional musician since graduation.
