About Me
I love music. Playing it, learning it and teaching it. My aim as a music teacher is to share the passion that I have for music with you and help you find your own love for it. I will help you learn how to play the guitar and understand chords, the fretboard and the theory of it all so you can create your own music. My goal is to make it fun, interesting and challenging for each and every student. You will be playing the guitar within the first two lessons with me as your teacher. Through practice and a positive attitude, you will find a love and a passion for the guitar that will make you want to practice and improve more through each and every lesson.
I graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music with an Emphasis in Music Education. My primary instrument of study was the Classical/Spanish Guitar.
