About Todd

Music is my life, and is something that I want to share with others! Because of that, I try my best to give positive experiences to all of my students. I have a byline that says "Music is Much More than Just Learning Notes." I believe that! Anyone can learn notes, fingerings, etc. What I try to do is add that "soul" element that each person has and cultivate that into meaningful music!

So, with all that said, here's what I try to instill:

A lesson is a place to share! I listen to students as well as teach. We all have something we can learn from each other!

While I want lessons to be fun and informative, I strive for complete understanding, which means any student will gain the needed mechanics with complete knowledge of why things ...

Easy and convenient to use.

My son has taken voice and then piano from Todd for about two years. Todd has proven to be patient, flexible and enthusiastic about my sons thoughts, ideas and interests. He has developed a very encouraging relationship with his student and my son feels comfortable speaking honestly and openly with him. Todd is gifted at his craft and has a true teachers heart.

Todd is the real deal. A good teacher (not just someone who can play). I highly recommend him.

I'm not setting the world on fire but then I've only had three lessons, and I've had some personal issues. Todd has shown patience with me and no doubt he is aptly qualified as an instructor in a variety of ways.

About James

I have been performing and teaching music for over 25 years. After having piano lessons as a young child, I began studying both French Horn and Classical Guitar at the age of 12. At that time I had two great mentors, John Miller of the Indianapolis Symphony and Joylyn Hague at University of Indianapolis. I hold a Bachelor¬ôs degree in Music Performance in French Horn and a Master¬ôs degree in Music Education from the Indiana University School of Music. At Indiana University I studied with celebrated horn players Philip Farkas and Michael Hatfield and received certification in K-12 instrumental music as well as Kodaly Method certification while continuing to study classical guitar with Joylyn Hague at University of Indianapolis and Brent Terrell at Butler University.

About Mike

I like to teach students songs that they like. This is usually the goal of every student. However, If you're a beginner I need to teach some basics first. Be prepared to learn and practice chords and other fundamentals before you start learning your favorite songs.

I've been playing guitar since 1980 and I've taught hundreds of students thousands of songs since 1998. I have taught country, pop, and rock from the 50s to today. I have taught Elvis, The Beatles, Guns and Roses, Nirvana, Metallica and Avenged Seven Fold not to mention hundreds more.

I know many, many praise and worship songs. I have helped aspiring worship leaders get a start.

I taught at my last job for 9 years. I maintained a schedule of 30 to 40 students weekly.
