I come from the greater Modesto, CA area. I am a veteran music teacher with over 19 years of teaching vocal and instrumental music. i have taught both in the private and public sectors.

I hold a current music teaching certificate with a BA in Music Education, MA in Elementary Education, and an MA in Reading/Music Focus.

I believe that anyone can learn to sing or play a musical instrument. I am passionate about teaching music and the joy that comes from learning music.

I am experienced in the areas of vocal and instrumental performance through concerts, recitals, musicals, community service, festivals and competitions.

I am a classical and traditional music teacher with many new contemporary styles of teaching music.

I started music in third grade when I started studying violin. I played in many school orchestras as well as with groups. After high school, I started studying electric bass and singing. I studied bass with Myron Dove who later played with Carlos Santana. I studied singing with Robert Bernard who was an opera coach in Palo Alto, California and was coaching Joan Baez at that time.
During the 80's I played bass and sang with my original band "The Tearmagnets". With The Tearmagnets, I warmed up stages for the likes of Robin Ford, Ric Emmett of Triumph, Clarence Clemmons (Sax plyer for Bruce Springsteen), Bourgeois-Tagg, Ronnie Montrose, Rory Gallagher, Tony McAlpine (Currenty with Steve Vai) and many other famous international acts. In the 80's my original song "Insanity" won 8th place in the Haight Ashbury Free Press song of the week beating our Jerry Garcia that same week.

Anna is a San Francisco Bay Area native. A professional drummer for over ten years, Anna has performed, recorded and toured with countless groups of various music styles. Her education includes a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley (where she was a member of the Cal Band for four years), and Certificates in Commercial Music and Recording Arts from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA.

Anna is not only known throughout the United States as a drummer, but also as a concert producer, live sound engineer, record producer, booking agent, tour manager, web designer, graphic designer and instructor. Hi. I'm Don. I’ve been playing the piano for over 40 years, and B-3 organ and synthesizer for over 30 years. My early training was in classical piano, but then I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and there was no turning back. After a couple of years of teaching myself guitar, I returned to the piano, and later, organ and synthesizer. I’ve been playing professionally in rock, R&B, blues, country, light jazz, and lounge bands for over 30 years. I did continue to study classical music in college -- piano, theory, composition, and history -- but by then I was committed to popular music. I've always loved teaching -- even while I was in college, I tutored my fellow students in piano and music theory.

I have been a student and a teacher of drumming for over 35 years now, and i learn something new every day.
I have played in many bands, and play in many bands now mostly ranging in styles from Hard rock to Gospel and everything in between. I am the on staff drummer for Evergreen valley Church, Church On The Hill and St Catherines Church. I also sub for Holy Spirit, Central Church, and a number of others.

Educated in Russia, St. Petersburg Mussorgsky School of Music, classically trained, with over 20 years of teaching experience, in addition to violin I teach Music Theory, Music History, Sight Reading and Ear Training to children and adults of beginning to advanced level. I utilize several teaching methods to best suit the needs of a student and make lessons enjoyable and productive. I introduce my students to a variety of styles while teaching classical techniques for lifetime skills. In addition to teaching, I play with South Bay Philharmonic,Campbell String Orchestra, and an instrumental Ensemble featuring Klezmer Music, Russian Tangos, Brazilian Choros, and Astor Piazzolla.
