I had the good fortune to study trumpet with two of the greatest trumpet teachers of the 20th Century. I combine the methods learned form Vincent Cichowicz (Chicago Symphony) and Gilbert Johnson (Principal Trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra) with the latest learning theory and technology to help students at all stages of development become superior players.

I have more than 40 years of professional performing experience, including 23 years as Co-Principal Trumpet of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra (bankrupt in 2003). I continue to perform and am currently Principal Solo Cornet with the Orchid City Brass Band.

I hold degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Illinois-Urbana. He was the minister of music At Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida for 11 years. He was also the minister of music at First Baptist Church where he reorganized the J.T. Ensemble and received many awards for numerous performances in the surrounding Broward County area. He is Now the current director of MEDIA & ARTS at Light in the Garden Ministry.

I started music at age 5. My parents were both professional musicians.My father was a professional jazz piano player and my mother a classical guitarist. So it is in the blood. I played a few instruments but my favorite guitar and piano. The bass is cool too. I have been a rounded bass player for the past 13 years and a guitar/bass instructor for the past 7 years. Since I came to Florida back in 2003 my passion for authentic music has grown tremendously. I've been a member of the STM (Strong Tower Ministries) band, New Life Fellowship Band and now (2006 – present) I'm currently a member of the Living Word Christian Center Band. As I continue to develop my craft I have challenged myself to commence working on an album of my own and becoming an extraordinary bass player and soloist. Music has been a part of my life for over 4 decades. I stepped onstage when I was 15, and have been active in the music business ever since. I was raised in the New York / New England area, and played in many bands in the 70's and 80's, most notably the band AVALON. I moved to Florida in the late 80's and began to develop a one man show, using the emerging technology available. I called the show YIN YANG, the infinite possibility of Music. I chose the name, as it is the Oriental symbol for balance, and used it to represent the balance between the electric and acoustic, and the technology of today with the classic music from yesterday. Midi guitar and guitar synthesis became my trademarks as I pushed the boundaries of how I could express myself on the guitar.
