I studied recording arts at CSU Chico under the guidance of multiple Grammy winner Joe Alexander. There I learned ProTools, Nuendo 3, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and various other recording and editing software. I've worked with many bands recording on-site in studios or practice spaces. As well as recording, I also was head sound engineer on the Vans Warped Tour for 2006 & 2007, on the Ernie Ball stage. I worked with over 400 bands around the country, including bands like Cartel, Gym Class Heroes, Plain White T's, HelloGoodbye, Throwdown, Zebrahead, My American Heart, and much more!
I came onboard the TakeLessons.com team in August 2007 as one of the developers. It's a great company to work for. As a musician, it is great to be able to merge two vastly different interests in my life--web development and music. It's a great feeling knowing that what I'm helping to build in this site is helping other music teachers make a great living doing what they love.
Take a listen to the 3 songs on my player. I recorded, mixed, and produced those songs.

Always open for the chance to work on a project doing audio, or coming out to a show to do some live sound engineering!
