I have been playing guitar and bass for twenty-one years, and teaching full-time for 8 years. I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and am fully qualified to teach middle- and high-school music, but I prefer the fun and flexibility of private lessons.

I play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, classical guitar, and electric bass equally well. I also have written and arranged hundreds of songs, and I have composed classical music for a variety of ensembles.

I am seeking students who are interested in acquiring any and all of these skills!

I recently played acoustic guitar in a duo that covered tunes in a wide variety of styles, including rock, pop, jazz, folk, and bossa nova, and I have played electric guitar and bass in rock, punk, and funk bands.

I have an instant rapport with kids and adults and I can learn to play any song within five minutes of hearing it (and then teach it to you in the next five minutes!)

I also own a 16-track digital recording studio and can make professional quality recordings with my students (when they're ready!).

I have a BA in Music Composition from Berklee College of Music, and my MA in Education is from the University of Phoenix.

My current students range in age from 7 to 65. I teach Monday through Friday, anytime of the day or night.

Every lesson you take with me is recorded directly to CD, and you will receive a copy at the conclusion of each lesson. This will help you get much better, much faster! There is no additional charge for CDs.

$40 per hour, $25 per half-hour
