As both a stage actor and musician, I career has taken him all over in fields ranging from Opera, Classical Theatre, Jazz to Gospel. He has performed with organizations including the MN Opera, Children's Theatre Company of MN, Broadway Gives Back, Actors Theatre of MN, Public Theatre of MN and the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. He has worked as a freelancing educator running his own vocal studio in Minneapolis MN and as a vocal coach for organizations including Children's Theatre Company and the Young Artists Initiative.

As a woodwind doubler he has performed professionally as a jazz and fusion saxophonist and as a pit musician for theatre company's throughout the Midwest. He has served as flutist for symphonic orchestras throughout MN and is a proud member of the AFM 30-73.

I have 16 years experience on the drum kit and have been teaching for about 5 years. I've also had a lot of recording and performing experience. When I was growing up I had two different drum instructors who taught me a wide range of the drumming spectrum. The genre styles I'm most familiar with include funk (hip hop), reggae, rock, latin and linear drumming.

Almost twenty years of teaching experience centered in performance, composition, and theory in the styles of classical, jazz, rock, soul and funk. As you might be able to tell, I'm a pretty fun and outgoing person. I love music with a passion and I love teaching. In 2012, I started up my own teaching business giving lessons to underprivileged youth in the Minneapolis and metro areas. I have been teaching lessons and performing for over ten years in a wide variety of styles and settings. I have a master's degree in Jazz Studies from Purchase College and a bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Jazz and African American Studies. After college I worked on Carnival Cruise Lines for three years, which gave me a ton of experience in all sorts of musical genres. Afterwards, I lived in Brooklyn, playing around town and teaching in Brooklyn and Long Island. After a summer living on Cape Cod while performing with the great wedding/corporate band, "The Sultans of Swing," I moved with my wife to the beautiful city of Minneapolis.

After high school I decided to pursue my passion for guitar in college and received my Bachelors degree in Classical Guitar Performance studying with Robert Guthrie at Southern Methodist University. I also love to write music so after graduating from SMU I went out to Los Angeles and worked in the film music industry at Warner Bros. Studios for many years. Hi. My name is Allison. I am an accomplished musician who plays many instruments some of which include guitar, flute, saxophone, bass guitar and my favorite, piano. I have been playing the piano for almost twenty five years. I started playing piano when I was five years old. One of my passions in life is to share the gift of music with others. I began teaching local neighborhood children about five years ago while I was finishing up my fine arts degree in music. Since graduating, I have been teaching children and adults in the Minneapolis west metro area going on four years. My experience includes playing at private parties, weddings and corporate venues. I also enjoy donating my music and time as a silent auction item for organizations and charities that raise money for local people in need.

Hello! My name is Nick. I have been playing drums for over thirteen years, and currently play in multiple groups in Minnesota spanning several genres. My repertoire includes rock, country, funk, blues, R & B, soul, and jazz, as well as church music and musicals such as “The Music Man.” With background in Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms, I can also play several different types of hand drums such as djembe, congas, and bongos. I was trained in classical music, so I play a variety of auxiliary instruments such as the tambourine, shakers, guiro, orchestra bells, and a-go-go bells. I am experienced in using Logic Pro and Protools to run loops, and building effects for my triggers.
