I've been playing and loving music for well more than half a century, now. I got started in second grade when my grandpa brought home a little violin one day, and I've been at it ever since. I was fortunate to take lessons for more than ten years with Carita Page, a teacher who was very warm, encouraging, and caring. I do my best to pass that on to my students in addition to the technique of playing and the theory of music, fascinating as those are.

I feel that playing in groups is very valuable experience for students and gives you a side of music that private lessons alone cannot. I encourage students to look for opportunities to do that. To help provide those opportunities I organized the Cranbury Scout Band, one of very few continuously-operating Scout bands in the country, which I have directed for more that ten years now. I've also been on the staff of several Jamboree Scout bands.

Born and raised in New Jersey, I have been involved with music for many years. The instruments that I play include Trumpet, French Horn, Handbells, Organ, Voice, and Piano. I received my formal education at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, which is where I earned a B.A. degree with Honors in Music. In order to obtain my Honors, I chose to develop elementary lessons on Chinese folk music. In my Junior year of college, I performed a dual media recital in both Voice and Piano, and for my Senior year recital, I focused on giving a Vocal performance. These recitals demonstrated the musical talent and techniques that I had developed throughout my experience at college. Hello! I am a professional music educator in the Philadelphia, PA area. I graduated magna cum laude from Mansfield University, with a bachelor's degree in Music Education and hold a master's degree in Flute Performance from the University of Connecticut. I have taught all ages of students, from pre-K to adult, a wide variety of instruments. I am a member of MENC (The National Association for Music Education) and Sigma Alpha Iota (Professional International Music Fraternity for Women). In addition to music, I love animals. Currently we have 2 cats, a turtle, and a red iguana that all put up with my practicing and lessons quite well (or they just hide under the bed).

I am a current student at Bucks County Community College and a product of their music department. I studied with Professors John Sheridan and Tom Giacabetti (UArts and Temple) I've been studying music theory for 8 years and have been a guitar player for 9 years. With 3 years of teaching under my belt, I specialize in contemporary music that stretches over many genres including blues, country, pop, and rock. I can also teach an introduction to jazz for students looking to enter into a college program.
I'm also a member of alternative country band 'Levee Drivers.' We have enjoyed local success which gives me great professional experience as well as keeping me on my toes as a musician.

My name is Peter A. I've been playing guitar for over ten years. I recently graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, I spent several semesters studying with Tomo Fujita (former teacher of John Mayer and Eric Krasno). I've also studied with legendary guitarist Pat Metheny and Jack Pezanelli. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Wes Montgomery, and Jimi Hendrix are responsible for inspiring me to play guitar and I specialize in teaching blues and jazz. I've performed with a bunch of great artists in the Boston and Philadelphia area.
I am also well versed in computer recording software and DAWs. I teach students how to use software programs such as Logic and Reason as well as notation software like Sibelius and Finale. With some basic training in these programs, I can teach a student how to effectively record and produce professional quality recordings so that a student can write, record, and produce their own music.

I grew up in a musical home, my father was a rock and roll and soul session drummer throughout the '60's and '70's in New York. I picked up the guitar at 11 years old and started taking lessons. After studying classical and jazz throughout high school I attended William Paterson University from 1994 - 1997, majoring in Music Education and studying with jazz guitar guru Vic Juris and classical guitarist Rich Jacobowski.

In 1997, I moved to Brooklyn and cut my teeth in the NYC R&B and rock club scene playing in the band Sole Pocket, and with various jazz combos at many other clubs including the Blue Note and the Knitting Factory. In 2003 I returned to college at CCNY (city college of New York), majoring in Jazz Performance and studying with Ornette Coleman alum, Kenny Wessel. I also formed my Hip Hop band, Spokinn Movement, and started my long standing weekly Hip Hop event, Freestyle Mondays (still running after 8 years!) in the East Village. I have made music my life. I studied piano from the age of 5. I have performed with the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra, the Garden State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Ocean County College Band and Chorus, the Georgian Court University Band, et al. I wouldn't be doing what I do if I wasn't having fun at it.

Currently I am a Classroom Music Teacher, - 3 years old thru grade 8 - a Church Organist for 2 congregations, a Choir Director and Accompanist, and a Private Piano and Drum Teacher.

Ryan has been playing the guitar for ten years. During this time, he studied and performed many styles of guitar playing. His earliest experiences include playing a lot of blues and rock guitar, which he still does today. In high school he played guitar in the school jazz ensemble. Ryan graduated with honors from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education. While in college he studied classical and jazz guitar, and performed extensively in Guitar Ensembles, Jazz Ensembles, and small chamber groups, as well as solo. Ryan has over three years in teaching experience, and is well versed in various styles of guitar playing, as well as music theory.

Gregg has been involved in music for almost his entire life. He began with the saxophone in middle school, where he took lessons and played in the school band, orchestra, and jazz band. He was interested in many other instruments at the time; piano and clarinet lessons shortly followed, but he did not develop his skills on guitar until much later. In seventh and eighth grade, Gregg was accepted into the Region II Intermediate Band, an intercollegiate ensemble for middle school students, where he performed tenor saxophone both years.

In high school, Gregg participated in the freshman Concert Band (tenor sax), Symphonic Band (tenor sax sophomore year, bassoon senior year), Wind Ensemble (tenor sax junior and senior years), and the Marching Band (tenor sax freshman and junior years, baritone sax sophomore year). He also took the music theory courses offered at the time, with prefect grades in both of them.
