I started my music studies at 7, piano and guitar, and became the ways to express myself! My other passion have been to teach. I wish to have the opportunity to exercise my abilities and knowledge (Guitar and Ensembles, Piano and Music and Arts in general).

I have a Bachelor Degree in Music, certified at The Higher Institute of Fine Arts in La Habana, Cuba.

I also have teaching experience, for any levels, and I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in music and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my teaching career to each of these pursuits. My qualifications include 14 years of elementary, middle school, high school and adults teaching experience.

I am originally from Peru. I came 10 years ago to the SW Florida Region. I began playing the guitar at the age of 13 along with other folkloric instruments from Peru. Born in Chile, Alejandro has two different bachelor degrees; one in music education from Universidad de Concecpción and another in vocal performance from Universidad de Chile. In the USA he earned a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of South Florida and is currently enrolled in the Master of Science Degree for Music Education at Florida International University. Since early in life Alejandro was attracted to classical music, especially vocal, choral and piano. His first solo performance as a tenor was at the age of 14 in his hometown church. Since then he has pursued excellence in his interpretation of different vocal styles and languages like English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Latin. Alejandro also works as a music minister in his church where he trains and leads children choirs, adult choir, vocal soloists, and piano players.

Knowing at the age of 5 that music was my life, by being brought up surrounded by praise music and gospel, my early exposure to music helped me to find every Instrument and style just my thing! I found out early on (age of 13) that I had a facility to teach and help friends understand music concepts. Some said it's a gift, others said it's vocation. To me it was just sharing what I loved. Since I had already decided to make music my career I made it a point to learn more and all I could in this field. Three degrees later (B.M /Berklee College of Music, B.M and M.M. /University of Miami) having studied under amazing Masters and years of performing, touring, producing and recording I have a lot to offer anyone, any age, any level when they choose me as their music teacher.

I have taught students of all ages. Some were beginners and some advanced. My patience and calm personality helps students get the most from their lessons.

As a young girl I began taking private piano lessons which eventually led me to participate in the string program at my Elementary School. Not knowing anything about string instruments I was handed a Cello by the Conductor, and I've been playing ever since!

He has performed as part of a Broadway touring musical, and been musical director for many regional theater musicals. He is an award-winning writer, and the music minister at his church.
