I have been playing the bass guitar for over 25 years. Lessons taught will be: finger exercise and stretching, learning to walk the bass, learning read and play music

About Lloyd

I have been playing the bass guitar for 22 years. I have played for Jazz Bands, Big Bands, Quartets, and Churches. The songs that I have played range from Jazz, Straight Jazz, Latin, R&B, and Blues.

I played Music in High School and in College. Though I am more comfortable with the bass guitar, I can also play and teach lead guitar as well. I have been playing the lead guitar for 12 years. I have taught many beginner students how to play both bass and guitar throughout my music career. Many have moved on to become professional bass players.

I enjoy teaching people how to play - playing is what I love and teaching others to be able to play like me or better is a passion of mine. I strongly believe that if you are willing to learn you will be a successful guitarist once our ...

David is great working with my 8 year old daughter. He is very patient, friendly, and outgoing. He quickly adapted to her specific needs and skill level since she has already had some lessons, instead of trying to start her all over from square one. Highly recommended!

David is hilarious, truthful, and extremely encouraging when it comes to piano! He doesn't tell me I'm doing great if I'm not in fear of getting a bad review (haha) ...he's great and takes moments to correct me if I'm doing something wrong. He's genuine and a great great teacher!! I guess I would recommend him. NOT. OF COURSE I WOULD!

Christopher is a Great Teacher.

I am so glad I found him to be my Grandsons violin teacher. Kevin is 8 yrs. old and never played an instrument before. Christopher really knows how to relate to him on his own level. He makes learning easy and fun. Kevin looks forward to his weekly lesson and has learned so much already.

Blake has been a wonderful teacher for my daughter. Not only is he very knowledgeable in guitar and singing, but he has been very accommodating for any and all of our scheduling needs. We live out of the country, and he has been more than helpful with changing schedules. His price is very reasonable. I would suggest him to anybody!

Blake is very patient with my son who has a short attention span. He will even go out of his way to find music that will inspire him instead of teaching the standards that would bore him to tears. We received a few lessons as a gift and have continued to go to Blake because we like him and he is making a difference in my son's life.

Once you get the basics down, you will learn how to play your favorite songs regardless of style. All of this can happen within the first 4-6 months of playing.

Dave is an exceptional teacher!

I am a beginner guitar player, Dave has been patient and kind at every lesson. This has been an inspiration and a great help for me to continue learning the guitar. I wanted to find a guitar teacher and not just a guitar player; his approach to teaching is outstanding. He has a love for music and a gift of being an excellent teacher. I always leave my lesson feeling good about my progress and inspired to continue learning to play the guitar. I recommend him for any player at any level; he he teaches good practice habits and is very knowledgeable of music theory and how to teach each person individually. It is rare to find someone knowledgeable in music and apply their knowledge to teaching. I was fortunate to find him!

He's awesome. :)

He makes learning the guitar so comfortable. He makes things easier to review and doesn't mind going over things you may have forgotten. If I could, I would get everyone I know to take lessons from him. I couldn't ask for a better teacher!
