Hello^^ My name is Justin. I study Music Composition and Piano at Towson University, and I've been teaching for four years. A few things I would like you to know about me are that I love video games, cartoons, and movies. I especially love the music found in them. Teaching, for me, is a way to learn. If something doesn't make sense we must figure out what's going on inside the mind. By discovering the best way for a student to learn or how a student learns best, already, we have a gateway to endless potential.

I presently am a certified Maryland public music teacher. I was a full time traveling musician for 20 yrs. Maine-Florida, Midwest, USO tours top forty bands , country acts local and national, single act as a lounge act. I have a BS degree in music education and was a student of John B Southard for about 15 yrs. This type of background in performance allows me to teach students the importance of using your aural ( listening) skills as well the music theory needed to perform when needed. My experience with different styles of music include Blues ( New Orleans) jazz, Rock, country, as well classical.

I am a composer, arranger, and producer with a continual appreciation for music and the arts. I embarked on my musical journey at a young age, receiving instruction in basic piano, moving on to study classical piano, and then learning jazz piano. I began writing solo compositions for piano as an early teen, and quickly thereafter learned how to use recording equipment. I also learned to play the saxophone as a child, playing in various elementary and high-school school bands. Often would my father, brother and I perform events held at our church as a saxophone trio, playing standard jazz pieces from the 1950s and '60s. While studying at Goucher College, I learned music theory, music history, and arranged several of my own pieces and a few original arrangements for the Jazz Ensemble. To culminate my degree of Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Music Theory and Composition, I received The Julia Gontrum Hill Award in 2009, for a promising career in music, and The Ruth Blaustein...

I am a University of Hawaii Piano Performance Major with a training emphasis in classical piano. I have taken multiple AMEB piano examinations, as well as performed in various recitals, culminating in an undergraduate music certification. I have been playing for 15 years, working with a variety of musical and performance styles, including individual performance, accompaniment, and musical collaboration. These experiences have given me the skills to tackle and communicate musical themes and ideas to students with a range of learning styles and needs, from beginning to advanced, classical to leisure.

Lyric Baritone, Orlando S., holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, respectively. Orlando serves as the Director of Music and Chancel Choir conductor at Hunt's Memorial United Methodist Church which was founded in 1773 during the advent of our nation’s history.

In addition to his work as a conductor, Orlando is also a highly-respected and sought studio teacher of voice and piano. He maintains an active voice and piano studio in the Baltimore area having successfully taught hundreds of students. Orlando holds memberships with the National Association for Music Education (MENC), the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and teaches students in five different locations.

I have been teaching private lessons for close to 10 years and have been an active performer for even longer, playing in all different types of groups, from rock bands and jazz groups to orchestras and brass bands. I studied music at Frostburg State University (Bachelors) and the Peabody Conservatory (Masters). I can teach just about any age and skill level and cover anything you are interested in learning; whether its a certain style, genre, technique or song.

Hello, my name is Richard. I love all things music, but my primary areas of focus are Piano and Music Literacy and Theory. My musical journey began when I was 6 years old, shortly after my grandparent's piano came to reside in my parents' home. I began piano lessons during that summer after first grade. By the time I was in junior high, my teacher thought I was ready for a more advanced teacher, and so I began taking lessons from someone who had traveled to Europe to study music. In college, I continued my musical journey, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors in Church Music with a Piano Principal and again in 2004 with a Masters in the same. Since then I have been teaching at a K-12 school, teaching mostly computer-related subjects but also assisting in the music program, fine arts competitions, and special programs. I am originally from Stamford, Connecticut and I currently reside in the DC Metropolitan area where I am a music teacher. I began playing piano at the age of 5 and I started playing the trumpet at the age of 10. I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Lynchburg College in 2008, where I served as the principal trumpet player in the Lynchburg College Symphony, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. I also obtained my Master of Science Degree in Human Services from Post University in 2010.

As a music producer/composer, I have worked with artists from Capitol Records, Warner Brothers Records, Young Money (Cash Money/Universal) as well as independent record labels. In all of my compositions I have served as the keyboard player. I have experience as an engineer using music technology tools such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reason 4.0, Cubase and FL Studio.

I have a Bachelor's in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA and am currently working on my Master's at Towson University. I have been playing piano since I was three, and violin since I was 7. I have taught special education full time in Level 5 schools in Baltimore County for 6 years, and have been teaching private lessons since I was an undergraduate in college

Hi, I'm Heather. I’m from a small town in Harford County, MD, called Abingdon. It’s really close to Baltimore, MD which is about 15 minutes away from Abingdon. I live with my husband and two bunnies. I’m an R.N. with a bachelors degree in Nursing and 16 years of training in music by masters of Curtis Institute, Julliard, and Peabody Conservatory. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years. In 2001, I had a diversion of career from nursing and I absolutely fell in love with the idea of teaching piano and I started giving piano lessons. I love playing my Masan & Hamlin grand piano for personal pleasure, and I spend a lot of time practicing for different occasions. I’ve played in over twenty piano recitals, and for numerous other occasions such as in Weddings , Funerals and in Choir accompaniments.
