Having a strong passion for music at the young age of 5, I have been vigorously working my way through my music career as an uplifting pianist and singer. I had taken classical piano lessons since the age of 5 through 20 when I decided to start taking classical voice lessons. I also, have a love for writing which is portrayed in my lyrics, as well as piano playing, as to tell listeners that even through a hard time, there is light at the end of the tunnel. My music can be identified as Christian/Spiritual alternative. I come from a small town in Florida with wide-open spaces where practicing music was one of the few things available for me to occupy my time.

I started music at age 5. My parents were both professional musicians.My father was a professional jazz piano player and my mother a classical guitarist. So it is in the blood. I started playing the piano when I was seven years old. I loved playing the piano and learning about music so much that I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Florida International University in 2007. I had amazing piano teachers that I learned a lot from. I learned the importance of enjoying to make music and to create a beautiful sound from the piano, and the importance of learning to read music. I teach in this same manner and incorporate music theory, piano scales/studies, and even some music history.

I had the good fortune to study trumpet with two of the greatest trumpet teachers of the 20th Century. I combine the methods learned form Vincent Cichowicz (Chicago Symphony) and Gilbert Johnson (Principal Trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra) with the latest learning theory and technology to help students at all stages of development become superior players.

I have more than 40 years of professional performing experience, including 23 years as Co-Principal Trumpet of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra (bankrupt in 2003). I continue to perform and am currently Principal Solo Cornet with the Orchid City Brass Band.

I have been a rounded bass player for the past 13 years and a guitar/bass instructor for the past 7 years. Since I came to Florida back in 2003 my passion for authentic music has grown tremendously. I've been a member of the STM (Strong Tower Ministries) band, New Life Fellowship Band and now (2006 – present) I'm currently a member of the Living Word Christian Center Band. As I continue to develop my craft I have challenged myself to commence working on an album of my own and becoming an extraordinary bass player and soloist. Even though most of my background and experience is with gospel music (which includes all genre of music), I have been very fortunate to work in the studio alongside Jam Loud Entertainment and other artist in the music and entertainment industry.

Music has been a part of my life for over 4 decades. I stepped onstage when I was 15, and have been active in the music business ever since. I was raised in the New York / New England area, and played in many bands in the 70's and 80's, most notably the band AVALON. I moved to Florida in the late 80's and began to develop a one man show, using the emerging technology available. I called the show YIN YANG, the infinite possibility of Music. I chose the name, as it is the Oriental symbol for balance, and used it to represent the balance between the electric and acoustic, and the technology of today with the classic music from yesterday.
