Born in Atlanta, GA, I began performing vocally and on saxophone, at the young age of 7, and it has taken me all over the world. I discovered a joy for teaching music through creative and fun methods at Lee University in Cleveland, TN (2004-2008)
I currently live in the Orlando, FL area and am outgoing, funny, and optimistic. My experience, as a finalist on American Idol, in 2007 ignited a passion to not only perform but to teach. With over 8 years of private teaching experience, I understand that learning happens differently with everyone.

I am of the opinion that all students of singing should be initially taught a voice technique based upon the classical or bel canto style of singing. Once a firm technique is established, students can then branch off into other styles of singing such as musical theater or jazz. With my knowledge and skill of vocal pedagogy, I will be able to guide them into this transition as well as impart the correct tools that will insure years of healthy and enjoyable singing.
For eight years now, Samantha has combined her love of music with her passion of cultivating an understanding and affinity to music in others by maintaining a private voice and piano studio for all ages and levels. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

The private voice lesson is designed to teach the student to sing with proper vocal technique and to learn appropriate stage presence, one-on-one (instructor and student), and is tailored to fit each student's individual needs.
