About Chase

Born in Atlanta, GA, I began performing vocally and on saxophone, at the young age of 7, and it has taken me all over the world. I discovered a joy for teaching music through creative and fun methods at Lee University in Cleveland, TN (2004-2008)

I currently live in the Orlando, FL area and am outgoing, funny, and optimistic. My experience, as a finalist on American Idol, in 2007 ignited a passion to not only perform but to teach. With over 8 years of private teaching experience, I understand that learning happens differently with everyone.

Whether you are just beginning or are wanting to reach the next level in your musical career; I am here to help motivate you and give you the tools to reach your personal goals.

Mr. Chase is just a helpful and thoughtful teacher. I am such a newbie in singing and he really takes his time correcting and supporting me to improve myself. After few lessons with him, I have found myself more confident. He makes me love singing so much now.

I sang in chorus for almost two years when I was in high school. People always considered me an okay singer. Never thought to try private lessons. I've been playing guitar for 10 years. Most people consider me an excellent guitarist. About three months ago started playing more acoustic guitar songs with vocals but the vocals just weren't where I wanted them. So I decided to give voice lessons a shot.

Chase has been an excellent instructor. He quickly identified my major problem areas and gave me exercises to work on during my first lesson. I started doing the exercises on my commute to work a few days a week. Now I'm only three lessons in and my singing abilities have improved dramatically. When I sing for my friends they are blown away at the progress I've made.

I wish I would have started lessons years ago when I was in the chorus!

Best Vocal Coach I've Ever Had!

Best vocal coach Ive ever had! I've had years of vocal coaching with minimal results and it wasn't until I started taking lessons with Chase that I realized what my voice was actually capable of. His lessons are very laid back and he made me comfortable from the very first lesson. I have gained almost a full octave in my range and am now singing songs that I never thought possible. As someone who has taken years of voice, do yourself a favor and look no further. I have grown in my self confidence and am finally reaching my goals! Thank you Chase for making learning how to sing fun!
Samantha G. Lady Lake, FL

I am of the opinion that all students of singing should be initially taught a voice technique based upon the classical or bel canto style of singing. Once a firm technique is established, students can then branch off into other styles of singing such as musical theater or jazz. With my knowledge and skill of vocal pedagogy, I will be able to guide them into this transition as well as impart the correct tools that will insure years of healthy and enjoyable singing.

About Samantha

For eight years now, Samantha has combined her love of music with her passion of cultivating an understanding and affinity to music in others by maintaining a private voice and piano studio for all ages and levels. As a performer herself, Samantha understands what it is like to be a student. Therefore, she makes it a goal to create a warm and nurturing environment while simultaneously challenging and daring her students to reach beyond what they think is possible.

A current voice student wrote this about Samantha:

"I love taking lessons with Samantha! She really has a lot of patience and works well with my voice. She doesn't give up on helping me reach notes, and makes me realize that I can do more with my voice than I would expect. She has developed my voice in the best ...

Cares about her students

I just wanted to take the time to say Thank you for allowing my child the opportunity to sing the solo between productions. I think she did a great job and it allowed her to experience what it feels like to sing/perform in front of a large group.
You are a fantastic teacher and I am glad we found you!

Great vocal coach!

From the first moment I started retraining my voice with her, singing has become a joy again. Her teaching skills are seamless, her personality a delight. With her use of visualization and exercises she inspires confidence, and after a few weeks I am improving more than I have in years!
