Melody has been a professional musician, vocalist, and actress since she was 16 years old. She began her career in musical theatre and graduated to film and television, starring in the independent hit "Down and Out with the Dolls." Her rolls in theatrical productions include Ti Moune in Once on This Island, Rizzo in Grease and numerable others. Originally from Washington State, she relocated to San Diego to go to college. She currently holds a Bachelor's of Music from San Diego State University's Don Powell school of Music and Dance, and is a Certified SLS Vocal Technique Instructor. I am a candidate for a M.M. In Horn Performance at Carnegie Mellon University, where I studies with Stephen Kostyniak (Associate Principal Horn, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra). At CMU, I have performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra. Before coming to CMU, I attended Youngstown State University where I served as Principal Horn of the Dana Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.
Outside of Carnegie Mellon, I serve as fourth horn of the Greenville Symphony, and Rotating Principal horn of the Southern Tier Symphony. I have also performed with the Westmoreland Symphony, Youngstown Symphony, W.D. Packard Band, Quantum Theatre, and Butler Symphony.

I grew up around Atlanta, GA and started playing piano when I was around 7 years old and bass when I was 11. Most of my education has been on the upright bass. I've studied classical bass performance at major music schools on the east coast and in the midwest. I've studied and worked with musicians from many of the great orchestras around the world.

I enjoy working with students who are just coming to the bass or piano for the first time and getting them started with music in a rewarding way as well as more advanced students that need finer musical direction or audition coaching.

Bo, a soprano, is currently a graduate assistant at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her performance experiences include opera performances, the main role"Lauretta" in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica, singing in Duquesne University’s Aria Night, Night of Broadway and Cabaret Favorites, and Scene Night.

As a native of China, she completed her undergraduate at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Shenyang, China. Her performances in China include performances with the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. Bo also took part in making the recordings for Ma Kai’s “Motherland Is In My Heart”. In the summer of 2011, Bo traveled to Rome, Italy, to study and perform at Duquesne University’s Rome campus, successfully completing their Lirica Roma program.
