My background is as a classically trained singer and voice teacher. I have studied with numerous leading voice teachers and singers in the United States. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida State University in Voice Performance and am in the process of receiving my Doctorate in Musical Arts in Vocal Pedagogy from The University of Miami. My education has provided me a great understanding of how the voice functions correctly and how to relate this to any level of student, from completely inexperienced singers to advanced singers. My teaching style focuses on making sure that the different parts of the voice are working correctly then focusing on the coordination of the entire system working together. I am a classically trained pianist, with over 10 years of experience. I perform jazz, classical, pop, folk, and other genres. In addition, I play keyboard in a local rock band. I teach a wide range of piano techniques, including sight reading, finger exercises, classical, and jazz improvisation. I also have a solid repertoire of rhythm training, aural theory, diatonic and chromatic harmony, and music history.

Andrew is a Philadelphia area bassist, guitarist, composer, sound designer, audio engineer, and teacher. As a recent graduate of University of the Arts with a MM in jazz studies, Andrew has had many opportunities to study with some of the best musicians that Philadelphia has to offer. I studied Composition at The University of the Arts and spend a large amount of my time as a professional songwriter and performer. I was one of the original teachers during the formative years at the Paul Green School of Rock Music where I later went on to be the Music Director of the Philadelphia and Downingtown Schools. I got my start in music early, banging away at the piano in my grandparents’ house as a child. Later, I began playing the viola in 3rd grade, and moved to the saxophone in 4th grade, playing that for the next seven years.

I am a jazz performance major concentrating on the upright bass at Temple University. Yet, I am also an equally qualified guitar player. I play folk rock, hard rock, funk, and a lot of jazz around the Philadelphia area.
