students will learn methods of improvisation, phrasing, scales, chords, rhythms, Favorite songs, fretboard mastery, and sound conception that are essential guitar techniques.

Many beginning guitarists have learned the basics of open and moveable chord shapes, but aren't sure how or why the individual notes within the chord work so well together, or the ways by which they can expand this chord knowledge to unlock the fret board of the guitar.

Jeff R. Longwood, FL

About Me

Many years of professional playing, across the country as well as abroad, combined with my knack for breaking down and explaining guitar technique, enables me to offer an effective, as well as fun method of learning the instrument.
Lessons are tailored to each student, with the priority being learning music YOU like, to keep you interested and ready to advance. You can learn to read music, but it's not mandatory (I encourage it, but you can still become a great player without it). If you just want to learn your favorite songs, or get started learning what it takes to shred on the guitar, we can do that.

I'm also experienced with studio and composition work (I composed and produced a bunch of instrumental rock and techno tracks for "Digital Juice", a big time company in Ocala, and was half of a production team that scored a 30 minute video for SeaDoo sport boats, through "Florida Film and Tape").

*** Specialties ***
Rock, metal, blues, funk, reggae, country, pop
