I am recent graduate of Music Composition and Theory from Antioch College. Also, I am a veteran of many bands and has performed in some of the largest venues around the country.

I favor an experiential instruction style where my students can gain an in-depth understanding of music through the practice of their instrument. My students will quickly and simply learn the essentials of music theory, an understanding of what musical concepts are right for each situation and why, and the ability to compose and improvise musically while they are gaining the technical abilities and skills to flawlessly perform on their instrument.

Recently completing a Master of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music with distinguished pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi, I am also a Bachelor of Music degree graduate from the Manhattan School of Music in piano performance under Dr. Arkady Aronov.

I am a four-time state MTNA competition winner, with distinctions in concerto performance. My teachers have included Mr. Antonio Pompa-Baldi (Cleveland Institute of Music), Dr. Arkady Aronov (Manhattan School of Music), Mr. Anthony Padilla (Lawrence University), Dr. Stephen Swedish (Steinway artist), and Dr. Dmitri Novgorodsky (Jerusalem Academy of Music, Israel). I have love and a great passion for music. I have been a musician for over 30 years, I have been a private instructor in piano, organ and voice for 10 years. I have trained and arranged music for several choirs and musicians. I have been music administrator for the church I attend for 12 years. I have instructed children's music classes at The Cleveland Clinic Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. I have toured with choirs, soloist, and musicians in the United States and Canada. I play for weddings and am currently on staff as a musician at a Funeral Home.

With over 20 years in educational industries, I've enjoyed being able to work with individuals from children to adult and helping them to develop into the musician they desire to be. From my saxophone studies under Dr. Nathan Jones at Drake University where I pursued my bachelor of music education, to my continued performing, teaching, writing and arranging today, the opportunity to live my musical passion continues to grow. I've been a featured musical guest artist at Arts in the Alley, a local city talent recital, and also have taught students who have been featured performers at various musical events.
