I am a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. For the past four years I have been the Vocal Director for all the major musical productions for Arts and Learning Conservatory at Vanguard University. I am also the Vocal Director at Music Theater of Orange County. I teach piano and voice for 45 students at Virtuosos Russian Music Academy in Fountain Valley. I have been the tenor soloist for the Oratorio Choir and Orchestra at the University of Northern Iowa. Performed in thirteen countries as a professional singer. I performed in 49 states in the USA for 18 years. I have recorded 15 CDs.

I am so excited to meet you! I have been performing ever since I can remember, doing talent shows, plays, musical theatre, and even television and film. Music has always been that quiet hum underneath all the noise that life brings. I began coaching vocalists and actors when I was attending Brigham Young University, studying Communications and Music. I found a new love of producing as I have directed and produced multiple musical showcases here in the USA, as well as in some parts of Europe. My passion for music and teaching goes way back when I wrote my first song at age 9 about an American Indian girl- I HAVE NO INDIAN BLOOD IN ME- but somehow I felt a connection- possibly something I learned at school or on TV. That experience- it changed and improved the evolution of my maturing through today. I was able to express my thoughts and facts I have learned through a song! Musical instruments- I played the guitar and piano on that first recording and my voice; and wrote out the lyrics and music notes! It gave me such confidence in myself. I felt I had achieved a great deal and won some educational contests and received great respect from my teachers.

Briana has studied various vocal genres under a wide variety of coaches: classical, chamber, and pop voice; musical theatre voice and jazz, soul, R&B, and gospel technique at McGill University in Montreal. Briana also spent 10 years studying the classical Suzuki method of piano under Phyllis Kranz (Dover, NH), which helped to develop her ear.

Briana is also a successful singer-songwriter. She developed the craft of songwriting while attending Phillips Exeter Academy, McGill University, and the University of New Hampshire, where Briana earned her Masters degree in English Literature. With a unique blend of blues, pop and soul, her immensely popular debut album GRANITE STATE (2009) led to a series of packed shows on the stages of the Sunset Strip, including House of Blues, Key Club and the Whiskey a Go Go.
