Bob W. received his Bachelors degree in Classical Guitar performance from Catholic University. An accomplished classical guitarist, teacher, and arranger, Bob performs regularly at public and private events, including weekly church services.

He is a regular guest artist for Afternoon Teas at the Strathmore Mansion in Bethesda MD, as well as Brookside Gardens annual "Garden of Lights" winter festival, and Sandy Spring Museum concert series. He has also performed at a reception for the Washington Bach Consort, along with numerous weddings and
special events Bob is currently involved with the Friedman/W. Flute/Guitar Duo, and has participated in ensembles including the Potowmak Trio, the Vivaldi Trio and the Joyful Noise folk group.

Hi my name is Aleksis, know by thousands of students as "Mr B." I'm 33, happily married with a one year old daughter and five year old son. I have been teaching music for over twenty years now. I have been performing locally and nationally since 1992, solo and with a band, at hundreds of venues across the country as a singer/songwriter guitarist and keyboardist. I am currently recording my fourth full length album, with several albums selling on iTunes. I own my an independent record label, working as an audio and video producer at my home studio and on the road recording live shows as well as with my students in their homes that are working towards a professional music career like mine.

Rowell holds two Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance and Violin Pedagogy as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music located in Winchester, VA. He enjoys encouraging students in taking their instrument to a new level while still enjoying it. The methods he uses will be different from one student to another, as individuals have different ways of learning. Promoting positive reinforcement helps build confidence. Music is something that everyone can share and express themselves through, and i want to help everyone to find that avenue of expression! I studied drums at the Drummers Collective in New York City, where i studied several genres of music. I play everything from rock, jazz, soul, R&B, Caribbean, and Latin music. If a student is interested in a certain style of music i would be happy to dive into that further, or explore other genres that may peek interest. The difference between me and many other teachers is that i genuinely love teaching and watching my students grow as players and musicians.

I've been teach Guitar and Bass for about 2 years now. I've recently been tutoring music theory for college level students. I like getting to know my students as I teach them. Not just for the sake of being able to teach you better. Being comfortable just hanging out before, during and, after a lesson makes the learning experience all that much better. I have all my Music major (Classical Guitar) requirements finished and the information is still fresh in my brain. I play many different styles of music but I specialize in Rock or Metal.

I am originally from Stamford, Connecticut and I currently reside in the DC Metropolitan area where I am a music teacher. I began playing piano at the age of 5 and I started playing the trumpet at the age of 10. I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Lynchburg College in 2008, where I served as the principal trumpet player in the Lynchburg College Symphony, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. I also obtained my Master of Science Degree in Human Services from Post University in 2010.

As a music producer/composer, I have worked with artists from Capitol Records, Warner Brothers Records, Young Money (Cash Money/Universal) as well as independent record labels. In all of my compositions I have served as the keyboard player. I have experience as an engineer using music technology tools such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reason 4.0, Cubase and FL Studio.

Steve is originally from the Binghamton, NY area and began studying drums at the age of 12 with local jazz musician Tony Monforte. He participated in the All State Orchestra and was placed on the Pro-Mark Honor Roll for young, up-and-coming drummers. Steve received a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where he studied with Gordon Stout, Steve Brown, and Robert Bridge. He was selected to participate in the Henry Mancini Institute where he worked with some of the leading jazz, film, and classical musicians and composers from around the world including Terence Blanchard, Bud Shank, Christian McBride, and Jerry Goldsmith. He has also studied with Steve Houghton, Greg Fields, John Vidacovich, and Harold Jones.

Khalil has had a life filled with music. His musical endeavors began at the age of six and since that time he has built mastery in the areas of piano, organ, drums, and saxophone. He sought formal music education at Elizabeth City University where he attended via a scholarship for his skills in rhythm. It was during this time that he strengthened his skills in percussion such as drums and piano. After matriculating Khalil went on to play for several well acclaimed artist and gospel groups throughout his career. He currently is a Director of Music and chief organist for a local church in the Washington Metro area.
