About Jessa

At eight years old my great-aunt offered to pay for me to take an extracurricular activity and a little voice whispered to me - take piano lessons. As soon as I started lessons I was recognized for my talent. I taught my skills at the piano only 4 years after that, teaching my siblings the basics of what I already knew. And I never stopped. I was mentored by one of the foremost teachers in all of Vermont, USA. She taught me about how to successfully teach young pianists to learn the piano. Today I teach piano in my home to a growing number of students.

Great Teacher!!

My 10 year old Son, has been taking lessons from Jessa for about 6 weeks now - he has learnt in leaps and bounds from Jessa. She is very patient, kind and very precise in explaining to my son, she is very clear and has a great way with children. I have appreciated her professionalism, and especially helping him believe in himself and build his self confidence. This has been a very positive experience in many ways. I highly recommend Jessa as a piano teacher - we love her!!!

Highly recommended teacher

I am in my mid-30s and picking up Mandolin for the first time without much background in music. Scott has been really great to learn from, teaching me not only the basics of scales and chords but he also has me working on songs and solos which I never thought I'd be able to do so early. I would highly recommend Scott.

My daughter has been taking lessons from Mark for several months. She is doing great. She enjoys the lessons and looks forward to them each week. Mark is a fantastic teacher and keeps the lessons interesting and entertaining by understanding the music she enjoys and relating with her on that level. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

I've been taking guitar lessons across the country since 1975, and Mark is the best instructor I've ever had. His expertise on the instrument is only surpassed by his ability to make something complicated appear simple for the student. I've had more fun taking lessons and practicing in the past 6 months as Mark's student than I have in the previous 40 years. I highly recommend him.

About Megan

My name is Megan G., and I would love to be your new violin, piano or music theory teacher. In 2012, I received my Master of Music Degree in violin performance as well as my Bachelor of Music Degree in violin performance, suma cum laude, in 2010, from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While there, I performed a range of works with world renowned violinist Robert McDuffie in The Robert McDuffie Center for Strings ranging from classics such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to modern works like Philip Glass’s American Four Seasons under Maestro Robert Spano, conductor of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. I was also selected to perform Mendelssohn’s Octet alongside the Saint Lawrence String Quartet, to play in the Rome Chamber Music Festival in Rome, Italy, and to be part of a string ...

I've been in love with music for as long as I can remember. And I fell in love with the violin after seeing a string treo preform in a fancy lobby. I first started taking violin lessons from someone in town when I was five years old. But after years of lessons, I felt I wasn't truly improving. I got discouraged and quit taking formal lessons for many years. I picked up some instruments by ear and continued to play the violin on my own; but finally, after joining an orchestra and feeling as if I needed some direction, I started taking lessons from Megan. I play the Violin, piano, drums, guitar, and the Erhu; I know what it is like to learn how to play an instrument, and having a patient, kind, yet extremely qualified instructor such a Megan is crucial. I was only able to learn from her for around a year before going off to college, but I improved immensely under her direction. Since then, I have been in several orchestra performances, including preforming as a violinist in an award winning orchestra at a commencement competition at my college, with an audience of over 5,000. I have never regretted learning an instrument and I certainly have never regretted taking lessons from Megan. I would encourage anyone from beginner level, to even advanced musicians to take lessons from her. I'm so thankful for the experience and musical knowledge I have obtained from this professional; as well as the friendship I was able to have with my teacher.
