About Me

Tramane teaches ages 5 and up. He believes that you are never too old to learn to play or sing. He informs his students that music is all around us. Tramane will help bring out the musical gifts that you've never thought that you've had or possessed. With his 20 plus years of teaching experience, you will receive the first class attention and skills needed to further your musical endeavors. Tramane also mentors and tutors to provide support for his students. As a teacher, Tramane believes that you must go beyond the call of duty to make sure that your job is done well by developing an open access to you, receive valuable information and resources in your musical career. IHe also known to refer his students for job opportunities in the music field. He also says it is a rewarding feeling when he teaches someone and help them get started on their musical journey.

About Me

I had a double major in music therapy and music education, with a minor in psychology. I have worked with children and adults in public schools, private schools, church settings and I currently teach at my home. My students benefit from my wide and varied teaching experiences.

I am a Music EC-12 Certified Educator with a degree from The University of St. Thomas, working as General Music Teacher for Stafford MSD. My teaching experience covers many schools and programs in the Houston area, including student teaching for several HISD schools as well as working with arts enrichment programs. My life is driven with music, sharing with the community. As an Instructor I know that I can spread the fun, creativity, and expression of music no matter what the instrument. My background in music is mostly vocal, working in and with choirs my entire life. I have also spread my abilities to work with Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Piano, and many more. About Me

I am a firm believer in students learning to perform any genre they desire. I was trained in the Classical method and this is definitely a great springboard from which to do anything you want with any kind of music genre. I believe you should enjoy!,enjoy!enjoy! In addition to the Classical method I was trained in the Relaxation Music Method which provided me with additional skills that can help me to teach anyone. I perform original music and I write lyrics and melody in a genre that is not Classical so I know how a bridge from learning the basics to going in a different direction can benefit someone. As a supplement to my performing art, I am a visual artist as well.

Teaching is a very gratifying and fantastic avenue to maintaining one's skills, I love the look in someones' eyes when they have surprised themselves and just performed something they didn't think they could learn.

Composer Troy W. graduated from the New England Conservatory, earning his Bachelors, Masters (cum laude) and Graduate Diploma while studying with mentor Malcolm Peyton. After spending a year studying with Lukas Foss in Boston, Mr. W. moved to Houston in 2001 where he continued graduate studies at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music.

During his time as a teacher with the Michael P. Hammond Preparatory Program at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, Troy taught classes in music fundamentals and music theory for pre-college students. He has also served on the faculty of the Summer Institute for Piano teaching courses in Form & Analysis for pre-college students.

Troy also has maintained a private studio, tutoring and teaching private lessons in composition, ear training, voice, piano, literature, and history for over ten years. About Me

Music is my life. As cheesy as that phrase goes, for me, it holds true. I'm Andrew. Everything I do and have been doing has been geared towards music. I've been in one working/gigging band or other without break for the past 5 years. I began intensely learning to play guitar at the age of 9 and have not stopped. The second I started learning I knew that that was what I wanted to do. I took lessons of my own as a kid, which helped shape me greatly. I then picked up bass at the age of 13.
Ive taught personalized lessons for over 3 1/2 years now without a single complaint. At this point in my musical career, the majority of my experience and attitude has come from being "in the field". Ive played South By South West, Westheimer Block Party, opened up for bands like the Misfits and Rage Against the Machine, shared the stage with bands like Minus the Bear and Echo and the Bunnymen, and been on tour and lived the whole life more often than not!

About Me

Kal was born in New York and began studying piano and then added cello in elementary school. Kal's vast knowledge of the piano and cello repertoire helps his students have fun playing because there is no shortage of wonderful selections to play.

When Kal was in high school, piano performance was always paramount. In addition, Kal studied cello with Nellis DeLay-Harvout, principal cellist of the New York City Ballet Orchestra and sister of the world renown and distinguished Julliard school of Music violin instructor Dorothy DeLay. During high school, Kal played cello in the school orchestra as well as the all county and all state orchestras. Kal also gave cello recital performances with veteran concert pianist Gloria Carney, who was the accompanist of the legendary cellist Leonard Rose.

Born in Crawford, MS, Joshua serves as one of the leading music clinician, music production and music engineering experts in Houston, Texas. Classically trained vocally and instrumentally, he not only brings the technicality of musical excellence to operations but he embraces a sense of urgency and understanding to each of his students. He enjoys teaching his students a variety of styles including jazz, r&b, gospel, soul, rock, classical, and country.

Joshua performs regularly nationally on a number of instruments. These include Trumpet, Tuba, Baritone, French Horn, Drums (Trap Set), Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Piano and a number of percussion instruments. I'm a young, enthusiastic, energetic, and patient pianist with a B.A. in Jazz Piano Performance from Lewis and Clark College.

So, born in Dallas, I've spent parts of my childhood in various parts of the country, from Washington D.C. to Carbondale, Colorado to Portland, Oregon, and now in hot and humid Houston, Texas. America has a plenty to offer and our great country's musical history is rich and eclectic. I first started playing piano at a very young age from a very old lady. It was something I resented my parents for, not really understanding the whole point of playing music. But now, in retrospect, I thank them indefinitely for exposing me to one of the most important passions of my life. It was in 6th grade that I joined a rock n' roll band, singing and playing all sorts of keyboards and having a ball with music.
