Music and teaching are my two life passions. I have been teaching music for over 10 years and playing for over 15. I was born and raised in Southern California and attended Newport Harbor High School. Upon graduating, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where I studied Guitar and Music Business.

After graduating from Berklee, I received my Early Childhood Teacher Certification and worked as both a preschool and toddler teacher in addition to teaching music lessons. I am a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. For the past four years I have been the Vocal Director for all the major musical productions for Arts and Learning Conservatory at Vanguard University. I am also the Vocal Director at Music Theater of Orange County. I teach piano and voice for 45 students at Virtuosos Russian Music Academy in Fountain Valley. I have been the tenor soloist for the Oratorio Choir and Orchestra at the University of Northern Iowa. Performed in thirteen countries as a professional singer. I fell in love with the guitar when I was ten years old, and it’s been one of the most satisfying, long-lasting and healthiest romantic relationships of my entire life. I am still in love.

Then I found that I could teach. This was a surprise to me. I have been a student of the drums myself for 17 years. I started like many musicians have, learning to play a musical instrument in the school orchestra. I picked up some drum sticks and haven't put them down since. My favorite styles of music are funk and rock. I have studied orchestral drumming, drumset, and music theory for 2 years at the university level. I love to teach and finding ways of making drumming easy to understand. I currently play with 2 bands and record whenever an opportunity arises.

I was born in Moscow in 1986 and started playing guitar when I was 11 years old. I got pretty lucky because when I was 15, I was hired to go on tour with a popular band in Russia. After a year of traveling and performing, I decided that it was time to take my guitar skills to the next level so I applied to the Russian College of Music to study Jazz and Classical guitar. I kept working as a studio musician and continued traveling around Russia as a hired musician. I appeared in many magazines such as: “Guitar Player” (Russian Edition), “Guitarist”, “MuzCube”, “Fuzz”, and many others. In 2006 I moved to the United States and basically had to start over as a musician.

I have been playing music for over fifteen years and have been teaching professionally for over five. I really enjoy teaching and performing and I have won awards in music composition. I have a BA in Education and have taken numerous music courses in my academic career including Harmony, Musicianship, Composition etc. I have also taught in all cities in South Orange County.
