I've seen Van in some of his shows, and he brings all this chops to his acting class. There's no substitute for wisdom and experience. And Van has both of those, to boot. Plus he loves the profession, which makes the classes that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend him.

We are three lessons in, and I've come to understand more about acting and how I fit into it personally than I ever have even after several decades of participation. The lessons are useful and enjoyable, the homework is fair, and I think you should take advantage of the fact that you can just simply sign-up, pay a lil' money, and have access to such a great mentor/teacher!

John challenges me to drop everything I "think" I know, calls me out on my bs, and breaks me down to get to my essential me--the point where I really am present, feel, and love. On top that, his training in voice and body allow for the work to be done safely.

On a personal note, I consider John to just be a thrilling person to work with, and a mentor in my life.

Working on how to walk into an audition, slate, to monologues. Making you feel comfortable for an audition is the most important part to get that role in the school play or even landing a commercial! I have worked with agencies all over the Los Angeles area teaching children while they are "one site" for jobs. I will also improve speech, breathing, and the way you hold yourself together. My teaching technique is more than acting. It helps with everyday life.

About Morgan

I have performed for Radio Disney, Norwegian Cruise Line, The Young Americans, and many more well know companies. Not only do I have experience in performing, I have also taught students in Japan, Germany, all over the United States, and many other countries around the world. Making a fun and positive environment for all my students is important so they can grow into the fantastic artists they know they can be!
