Hello! I am an active operatic performer and teacher, currently residing in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. My mission as a teacher is to help students from the beginner to professional, learn to sing in a fun and enriching environment. I hold a bachelors degree from Millikin University, and have recently earned my Master's degree from Bowling Green State University. I was very involved in the opera theater programs at both universities and have performed such roles as Cherubino from the Marriage of Figaro, Mother from Little Red Riding Hood, and Fiordiligi from Mozart's "Cosi fan Tutte."
As a teacher, I believe singing is an exciting journey of learning, musicianship and artistry. I have most recently taught in Jerry City, Ohio for Elmwood Jr./Sr. High School, and have also ...

My name is James, I am a college freshman from North Hollywood, CA attending Huntington University in Indiana and I have much experience with teaching students with numerous interests to become better at what they want to accomplish. I have volunteered in my community by donating to blood drives, food drives, worked close with my church and played for my church for services. I belonged to organizations in high school such as California Scholarship Federation in which I tutored students through the program and one on one outside of school. I also participate in an athletic sport, play piano and I love helping others. Thank you and I look forward to working with more students.
I think music is a gift. Something that if pursued, can make for a long and rewarding journey. My love for music started in third grade with piano and soon progressed to the trumpet and finally, after high school, to guitar. I studied both classical and jazz guitar at Indiana Wesleyan University and had a brief stay in Nashville where I toured and studied songwriting.
My musical experience has included jazz bands, classical voice and instrumental groups, church bands, as well as international instrumental instruction. Every musician's story is unique and I love the opportunity to help other musicians on their journey.
I think that when starting out with a new teacher the first lesson should be free. The first lesson includes getting to know the ...
I have played piano since I was 6, and have grown to love many aspects of music. I enjoy working through method books, using them as springboards to using music in everyday life. I am studying to be a Lutheran Pastor at Concordia Theological Seminary, and am always open to involve faith in music.
