Hello ! I earned my Masters in Violin Performance in Sofia, Bulgaria and my Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Kansas City, MO. I have performed professionally with different orchestras and chamber groups in the US, Europe, and Asia. I have over ten years experience teaching violin students of all ages and levels. I have worked with Kansas City Missouri School District implementing a new Pre-K Suzuki violin program (I am not Suzuki certified) and I was on the violin faculty at Music and Dance Academy Kansas City Missouri and Kansas City Strings Conservatory among others. Currently, I teach at two music schools in NYC.

Originally from Rome, Italy, Elisabetta immersed herself in musical and classical studies since an early age. I've been playing guitar for 19 years. I started at the age of 13 with my dad's nylon string classical guitar and a book of chords, and spent several years teaching myself and learning songs by ear.

Roland R was born and raised in New York City. He started playing drums at the ripe age of 12. Throughout his schooling, Roland was a member of Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, and Drum Corps. He eventually started to explore playing music outside of school with friends and independent musicians around New York City. Roland's teaching "career" started about 7 years ago, when his baby cousins took an interest in banging on pots and pans with wooden spoons. His interest in helping others develop their ability to express themselves eventually evolved into in-studio lessons with children and adults of all skill levels. I am an extremely experienced Cellist and Guitarist with nearly ten years of performing and teaching experience. I have been playing guitar since the age of five and cello since the age of eight, and have performed all over New York, Ohio, and North Carolina, as well as Italy. I have a B.A. in Cello Performance from the University at Buffalo, and an M.A. in Music Performance from the Copland School of Music at Queens College.

As a younger brother at the age of five, I began studying the piano because my older sister did. After my foundation in music strengthened I fell in love with the trumpet. At first, each note took time to develop and I enjoyed the challenge. The trumpet allowed me to travel all over the Southeast later in life and even to China with a 1940's Radio Show. I believe that progressive teaching must employ constructive pedagogical strategies to foster meaningful musical experiences for students to build and to exhibit competence. My pedagogical model is comprised of a student-centered approach to produce attainable challenges and to affect affirmative changes that will physically, technically, and emotionally enrich each student’s performance.

During instruction, I exercise scaffolding methods to facilitate the students’ zone of proximal development and innovative questioning to augment students’ cognitive thinking and critical thinking skills. The process of musical learning is purposeful when it is facilitated within a nurturing environment to motivate the students’ intrinsic interests and that is my goal!

I am a certified teacher on teaching piano and have a college degree on music. I have taught from beginner to advance level for over 5 years and I am specialized on teaching young children starting at 4 years old teaching in piano and music theory.

I am experienced with all ages from 5 - adult and have been teaching lessons for ~8 years. I began as a volunteer in High School and built a larger private base of students while in college. I have played lead guitarist/singer/songwriter roles in several rock bands, as well as participated in award winning ensembles of all varieties (Jazz Bands, Wind Symphonies, Marching Band, Symphonic Band). Despite a background rich in performance, teaching is my foremost skill and profession. In addition to lessons, I've taught in the classroom setting. I was the first Popular Music and Jazz Major to graduate from the University of Rochester/Eastman School of Music. My name is Bob. Originally from New Hampshire, I'm a professional musician/teacher with a incredibly deep passion for what I do. I'm a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. While attending school at Berklee I was able to meet many different people and learn about an array of musical styles. I also was able to travel to Japan for a tour with the incredible pianist Manami Morita. Currently I play with a number of musical acts in NYC including The Groove Shop, Leah Cooper and The Human Equivalent, Johnny Arco, and the world-music live improv group The High Breed.
