Originally from Capetown, South Africa, I'm a NYC based professional drummer. I've studied at Berklee College Of Music (Boston, MA) and The Drummer's Collective (NYC).

I offer my students professional training in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

I have been an active musician around the New York music scene for the past 8 years. I have played every club, ballroom and theater in the area. I also have done some touring in Europe. I have studied music for the past 20 years since I was a young boy. I have a strong background in jazz, blues and rock n roll. I have been teaching for the past 2 years at a music school where I teach students varying from age 6-65 to play, read and perform music. I am also an audio engineer who records and mixes musicians as well as working in a live sound venue.

Dominic M., America’s Tenor, has been singing in one form or another since the age of four. As a young man, Dominic began honing his skills of singing and acting through Community Theater. His voice and career were forever changed when vocal coach and mentor, Suzanne Ferris-Hammer introduced him to the great voice of Mario Lanza. From the moment Dominic heard the voice of Mario Lanza, he began to fashion his own voice in that image.

Dominic continued to expand his career by developing his own show, which includes the songs of Mario Lanza in their original keys. These shows were held in some of the finest NYC Cabarets such as Don’t Tell Mama, Duplex Café, Danny’s Skylight Café, Café 44, and Eighty Eights. He has also performed these shows at The New Palace of the Performing Arts of New Jersey and at Odettes in New Hope, PA.

Having grown up in a musical household (my father owned a guitar shop on Long Island, my mother sang all over in soul/motown/classic rock outfits), it was impossible not to start speaking the same language. After spending 5 years on trombone and a few years of piano lessons, developing my love for music as well as the knowledge of how to communicate with others through it, I found my home as a bass player as early as 5th grade. From Symphony Hall to Pit Orchestras at Berkshire Theatre Festival (America's 2nd oldest regional theater), from musical retreats in Nashville with 5-time grammy winner Victor Wooten to touring Europe in a rock band, I exposed myself to every kind of music I could get my hands on (and still do!). My name is Noel B., and I am a drummer living and working in New York City.
I have been fortunate to perform with jazz legends such as John Scofield, Pascal Niggenkemper, Andy Milne, Dave Pietro, Dave Douglas and the list continues. These shows were at many first rate jazz clubs including: Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, The Stone, The Tea Lounge, Tomi Jazz, Cornelia St. Cafe, The Falcon, Twins Jazz, Trumpets Jazz and many others. While receiving my Masters degree at NYU, I was also employed as an adjunct music faculty member.

In 2012 I was selected as one of Half Note Records musicians in the "Promising Artist Series." The award included responsibilities such as giving concerts and leading clinics.

I was born in Amsterdam, Holland, where my father worked as an opera singer. While listening to vocal warm-up arpeggios, my mother bounced me on her knee and taught me rhythms and rhymes.

In my family we beatbox, play piano, and sing together. The family moved to the States in 1995 where my parents worked as music teachers. My Dad is a voice professor at the University of Wisconsin, and my Mom runs an amazing music program at Country View Elementary School in Verona, WI.

In the small town of Verona I played in the band program throughout high-school where I had an amazing and demanding music teacher and highly talented friends. The drumset became my passion and I played, blissfully and recklessly, as often possible. Our teacher took the high school band on a concert tour of Europe in 2002 in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
