Learn to love music from the inside out--by understanding the fundamentals so you can create and recreate music for personal enjoyment and to share with others. It is my privilege to join children, youth and adults in developing your musical talents and gifts. I teach beginner-intermediate piano, beginner guitar and voice students. I tailor the focus and styles of music to your needs and preferences, and include training for success. I am life-long musician with a music degree (vocal and keyboards) from Messiah College. I also direct the music and worship ministries for my congregation.

I do have a dog at my home studio. He's friendly,but can be contained in another part of the house if that is helpful to you.

Elizabeth has been praised for her “clear ringing soprano voice”, excellent comic timing, and “warm and enlightening” performances (The News Journal of Wilmington, DE). Elizabeth has been seen on stage with most of the Philadelphia area Gilbert & Sullivan groups, including The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Chester County, Ardensingers, and Thespis Etc., and performed the roles of Patience (Patience), Yum-Yum (The Mikado), Rose Maybud (Ruddigore), Angelina (Trial by Jury), and Fiammetta (Gondoliers) in 2008 and 2009.

Most recently, Elizabeth performed the leading soprano role in the world premiere of an original opera with Opera Delaware in Wilmington, DE's Fringe Festival. She “tackled the challenging score with gusto, her beautiful soprano and excellent diction winning in even the highest vocal points” (The Community News of Wilmington, DE).

Over my life I have had a love for music. I've studied, piano, flute, and dance, but singing and performing keeps me coming back!
I had the privilege of studying with artist in residence Augusto Paglialunga at West Virginia University where I received my degree in Vocal Performance. Mr. Paglialunga taught me the importance of starting with a healthy voice no matter what style I planned on performing. From singing opera or jazz in college to singing pop music while touring the country, I first start with a healthy voice and every style falls into place.

LeBaron is a multi-talented Urban Gospel Recording Artist. As a vocalist, songwriter, keyboardist & producer, LeBaron skillfully incorporates years of music involvement and a variety of influences to passionately present the gospel message in a very current and soulful manner. LeBaron is a proud graduate of Cheyney University. It was there that he began honing his skills as a Music Major with a concentration on Voice. Meghan currently lives in Philadelphia PA, and is an Adjunct Voice Instructor at the University of Delaware. She also teaches private voice at The St. Andrew’s School in Middletown Delaware, and at the University of Delaware Community Music School. She maintains a private voice studio in the Philadelphia area, and is an active performer throughout the region.

Meghan is a recent graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned the degree of Master of Music in Voice Performance under the teaching of Dr. Robert Brandt. Having graduated from Westminster Choir College, I have learned many techniques for helping students to understand their voices better. I have taken voice lessons myself for the past 8 years, and still do take them. This gives me the opportunity to learn new and different techniques. As every student is different, there are many different techniques that can help the student to find their voice.
One style of teaching that I really feel is important when discussing the voice is the idea of just singing. Often times, as was my experience, when people hear voices they like they will mimic that sound. The problem with that is that the person will start singing with a voice that does not belong to them. That is usually the first goal for a voice teacher to achieve, is to find the students voice again.
After that it is teaching the student technique and helping them through the growing process of their voice. This technique is for the healthiest kind of singing...

I have been playing drums for as long as I can remember! Having come from two very musical parents, music has always been an important and powerful force in my life. The son of a versatile drummer, I was introduced to percussion at a very early age, and can recall being sat behind the drum kit as a toddler. Piano was the first percussion instrument I studied formally for several years in early elementary school. In fourth grade my dad set up some drums in our basement, which quickly led to joining the school band, and soon was taking lessons in both drums and keyboard instruments.
My drum studies continued throughout middle school and high school, where I also started developing my voice, singing in several vocal ensembles, as well as playing in marching band, symphonic band, orchestra, and jazz ensemble. I've led a life dedicated to teaching and performing. I have two degrees in music- a Masters degree in Voice Performance and Teaching, and a Bachelors in Music Education. I've been teaching voice for six years at a local university and I have worked with actors, dancers, and artists in every style of music. My graduate studies broadened my teaching tools and I can't wait to share them with you!

Currently, I am working on a career as an opera singer. I am studying privately with my teacher from graduate school and my pianist- coach, who helps me with interpretation and clarity in my singing. I took private acting lessons that helped me sing my music with emotional honesty, and helped me look good on stage. With being a student so recently myself, it makes me so excited to help students make their own discoveries.

About me: I have been playing the violin since 5 years old in a variety of formal orchestras, ensembles, and settings, including formal schooling and training with top rated violinists and viola players from the likes of Curtis school of music and world-renowned Quartets. With my help you or your loved ones can learn to play and master the sounds of the star classical instrument (or jazz, country, or bluegrass whatever genre you want to learn to play).

I am a jazz performance major on the upright bass at Temple University. Yet, I am also a guitar player and a folk rock musician that plays around the Philadelphia area. I have been playing music my whole life and one of the most important things for me is to share my musical knowledge and abilities with others. This is a concept that several of my fantastic teachers have passed on to me. Music is emotional and it would be nice if everyone was emotional about it. We might be Phillies fans, but we still understand the finer concepts of life. The following genres of music that I can cover are as follows:
Guitar- rock, blues, jazz, folk, songwriting, bluegrass, funk, country, hip-hop
Electric Bass- same as guitar
Upright Bass- classical, jazz, folk/country, blues, rock
There is no better feeling for me than to teach you something. You walk away from a lesson having accomplished something and I could even learn something from you as well.

I began playing drums at the age of 9, guitar at 10, started my first rock band at 11 and I've never stopped playing music since. After playing in the concert band, jazz band and marching band in high school, I went on to Temple University where I earned my Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance on the drum set. Since graduating in 2006, I have been teaching both drums and guitar professionally all over the greater Philadelphia area.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have performed, recorded and toured the US and Europe with many different groups ranging from jazz to rock to metal.
