About Sharon

I recognize that each student is unique and has different goals and aspirations so each student's lesson is unique and carefully prepared to inspire and create ...

My son has been taking lessons from Matt for almost 2 years and we could not be happier with his progress. Matt provides the personal attention that each of his students needs for growth in guitar skills and also music theory. I also appreciate his flexibility and willingness to accommodate our hectic schedule.

I have been a student for Mathew for past few months and I enjoy his classes. In his classes, I've been learning songs, guitar techniques, music theory, and even a little about the music business from his experiences. He has a great in-home studio which is perfect for guitar lessons and I've have learned a lot from him and I look forward to his classes each week. In my opinion, he is the the best type of person to learn from because of his dedication and his ability to teach anybody at any level.

Matthew is very encouraging about her progress and keeps her motivated to practice to sharpen her skills. He's also very flexible with scheduling which is great for us because of school, commuting etc. Matthew is very friendly and knowledgeable and is an excellent teacher.

Melissa M. Everett, WA

About Melissa

Hello and welcome to your studio!

I have been teaching privately for about two years in the Everett/Snohomish area. My love for music is deep and I enjoy sharing what I know with my fellow students. Many of my students compliment my patience and say they have learned so much in so little time. Life with music is a journey but not only that, it is a lifestyle. Being a good, dedicated student will bring so many wonderful moments and rewards as you take the journey with your instrument of choice. I have students entering talent shows, performing at assemblies, choir, musical theatre and locally for the elderly during Christmas. I am also applying for the Music Teachers National Association program. This will offer students more opportunities for performance, competition, writing and ...

I am a guitar player making the transition to piano. In just the three short months I have been taking lessons from Melissa, she has improved my ability to sight read, deepened my knowledge of music theory, helped me learn over 20 songs on piano. I have have many music teachers over the last two decades and Melissa is, by far, the most knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging.

Nessa is our first private lesson piano teacher. My DTR has only had some group lessons in the past which left some gaps in her learning. She is great with my shy daughter and is able to get her to do what she wants in a very warm, comfortable way that complements my daughter's personality. I also love that she is extra careful about watching posture and technique so that no bad habits develop. We are really enjoying our lessons.
