I have 40 years of experience in drum performance and teaching. I have a degree in Music Education and Percussion Performance. I have had the opportunity to play all styles of music including marching band, Jazz band, country, rock, jazz styles,and symphonic generes. I have a passion for music and playing. I am a performance based person which in a sense after working hard you want to be able to measure and have fun with your craft. I provide a safe and fun enviroment of teaching. I am bringing a fresh and new approach to teaching drums in the Cincinnati area. While in the Kansas City Area I have shared the stage with Many Musicians and speakers, such as Tony Evans, The Association, Billy Cobham, First Baptist Church of Raytown. I have also done recordings and Musicals involving East Side Baptist Church, Theater at Vis and local school districts. I have studied under Charmaine Asher-Wiley, Dr. Dennis Rogers, and Dr. Mike Sekelsky.

Stacey is a professional soprano known as an active performer in the Cincinnati area. Stacey has sung for 8 seasons with the Cincinnati Opera as a member of the core chorus and sings with Cincinnati's professional chamber choir the Vocal Arts Ensemble. She also sings with the North American New Opera Workshop and ascend voices. Stacey has recently been named as the Director of Artistic Collaboration for ascend voices.

Stacey has taught students of all ages and with various musical styles. Her students have included professional ballet dancers with Broadway aspirations, an 8-year-old girl simply wanting to break out of her shyness, and high school students preparing for College auditions. Her students have been accepted into College music programs, they have been members of the Mayfestival Youth Chorus, the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts, and have traveled to Europe with competitive touring choirs.

I have been playing guitar since the age of 9. I have studied Classical, and Jazz at CCM's Prep Dept. in middle school and throughout high school as well as rock, folk, country etc. with other local teachers. I started teaching lessons at the age of 18 in local music stores and have never stopped. While doing this I attended The College of Mount St. Joseph where I studied Classical and Jazz guitar as well as Music Ed. In addition to my 22 years of private lesson experience, I have 2 years of classroom experience teaching general music in elementary schools. I believe it is my years as a student and instructor that enable me to be an effective teacher, having had learned what worked for me as a student, and what has shown to work as a teacher.

James is a classical guitarist currently residing in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to a wealth of teaching and performing experience James has studied with world renowned performers such as; Oscar Ghiglia, David Russell, Marcin Dylla, Florian Larousse, Carlos Perez, Jason Vieaux, Lily Afshar, William Kanengiser, and Pavel Steidel. Since attaining a B.M. of Performance from Eastern Kentucky University James has been pursuing a Masters of Music from the Cincinnati Conservatory. Currently James is in the process of recording his first professional album and arranging concerts throughout Ohio and Kentucky for the 2013 season.

My name is Patrick and I have been teaching guitar for four years, and am located in CIncinnati, OH. I am currently studying at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), pursuing a degree in Classical Guitar Performance. At age eight he began formal training with St. Elizabeth’s church organist. At twelve David acquired a drum set and began drum lessons; soon after, his family band was playing regularly for enthusiastic crowds. While attending Xavier University, David continued to play in several groups. At Xavier, David received a degree in music with a focus on music technology. He performed with the Xavier University Choir for four years conducted by the music department chair Helmut Roerig. During the same period David performed with the Percussion Ensemble and studied drums with John Gardner of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra . He studied voice with Harriet Beebe and piano with Rebecca Slater. While studying electronic music at Xavier, David began teaching classes with professor James Hart.

I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in June of 2010, studying under Dr. Roberta Gary. I have completed all the coursework for the Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance. I will receive the degree at the end of 2013 after performing one more solo recital.

I began playing the piano at the age of 5, later moving to the organ at 12. I have held a church job since then, working in multiple different denominations and settings. I have a strong background of piano, accompanying, theory, sacred liturgy, and musical performance. I enjoy studying and listening to many genres of music as well as performing them. I am very interested in historically informed performance and understanding different techniques as they are related to the compositional style of different time periods.

I have been teaching private music lessons on guitar, bass, and brass instruments since 1997. Private lesson instruction is my main focus and I am very passionate about finding the musician in each student.

Jennifer has a Bachelor's Degree in Music in piano studies from Kent State University. She has been teaching children from age five to adult for over eleven years. She desires to help students learn about music and learn how to make the most of those 88 keys. Previously Jennifer has worked at Long Lake Camp for the Arts as a private piano instructor. She has successfully run her piano studio along with aiding several other music studios teaching dozens of students from various backgrounds.

I attended Wright State University, where I graduated with Latin honors in June of 2007 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

Among the numerous honors I received during my matriculation at Wright State University, I was on the Dean’s List every quarter, and won the highest distinction offered by the Department of Music by winning the coveted Wright State University Concerto Night Competition in February of 2007. I was also a 2004 and 2006 winner of the department Honors Recital, and a recipient of the WSU Chamber Players “Beethoven Award.” In June of 2004, I joined the Wright State University Wind Symphony on a tour of Japan, where I performed as a featured soloist.
