About Me
I have always been a music lover. I participated in choirs of all kinds for my entire life, but I was inspired to be a music teacher by my high school choir teacher. After high school I went to Willamette University, a private college in Oregon to continue my music studies. During my time at Willamette I participated in choirs and private voice lessons in addition to my course work. I graduated in May 2011 and decided to move back to Colorado to pursue a Masters of Music Education and teaching licensure because I was still very passionate about teaching.
As I continue with my schooling, I am always learning more about teaching and the voice in addition to developing my own personal philosophy. I think that music should always be an enjoyable experience, and I endeavor to make the learning process and fun and as comfortable as possible for my students.
