I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance and currently working on a Master's Degree in Music Education. I have had the privilege of being involved with music on a performance level since high school. I understand that music has to be specific to the person and enjoyable. I am very knowledgeable about the voice mechanism and vocal production and how to improve a student and take them to the next level

Originally from Maryland, Calen J. is a Douglasville, Georgia resident with a burning passion for music. His involvement with the performing arts dates back to 1994 where he took up the alto saxophone as his primary instrument, and 1996 when piano became his secondary; since then he has dealt heavily with band performance, where most of his expertise lies.

I am a 27 y.o. University of West Georgia graduate with a bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in brass instruments. I am also a certified teacher with the state of Georgia and I'm working on becoming certified in Alabama and South Carolina. During college I served as the president for the CMENC chapter for a year and for Phi Delta Musicus for two years. I have been giving private instruction for 7 years on various instruments. During the summers I usually instruct/tech for marching bands all over the state of Georgia. I hope to utilize all of my skills to make learning music fun for any and everyone.

Judy began her pro singing and piano career at 16 and continued touring and singing shows thruout her college training at Fla. State Univ., getting her BME degree. After that she sang with pop, rock, and gospel groups and has sung and played piano live and in the studio for more than 20 years as well as teaching during that time. Another student at the ripe age of 8 just won a singing competition in the city of Orlando and performed at the Linda Chapin Theatre at the Orlando Convention Center. I am a professional guitarist/bassist with more than 15 years experience playing in bands of various styles including hard rock, metal, jazz and country. I have toured across the U.S. and have shared the stage with acts as varied as Drivin' & Cryin', Seven Mary Three, Better Than Ezra and Quiet Riot.

Music is my passion, my hobby, my career and my gift. I have been performing since age 7 and teaching for the last 25 years. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in music and love to share my knowledge and experience with all ages and aptitudes - even special needs. My approach to teaching is fun but serious, laid-back but encouraging, demanding but forgiving. Gabe has been playing the drums for twenty years and has been teaching students for about twelve years. In that time he has played with numerous live acts as well as studio work. His experience mostly lies in jazz, funk, blues, latin, and rock. As much as he loves playing these styles he loves to teach them. Gabe's music education began in grammar school and continued through high school. In college he earned a non-music bachelor's degree but never stopped studying the drums. With the help of his own private instructors and continued playing experience, he now considers himself a self-taught musician and uses this experience to show his students how to do the same. His students can expect a challenging curriculum that will make them better players no matter what style of music they play.
