Bertrina's musical education began at age 7 when she came home from school and declared to her parents that she wanted to play the VIOLIN. She began taking private and group Suzuki Violin lessons. Her love of music and the Violin won her a seat at the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts. During middle and high school, Bertrina learned how to play the Viola, Cello, and String Bass. Her Violin Studies have taken her places all though the United States as well as countless places abroad.

By the age of 2, James W. had already developed a passion for music and a desire to play the drums. Over the years he has become one of the most sought after drummers in the city of Detroit. He is passionately admired by the crowd which has grown to respect him as an entrepreneur and member of the band.
JWALL’s number one supporter has always been his father, Jimmie W. His dad traveled with him to various venues and ensured he would gain the skills and knowledge as he pursued his educational career. James experienced the “Golden Opportunity” of being the first drummer at the Detroit School of Performing Arts. He has also traveled on a 16 day tour to Europe where he visited Austria, France, Switzerland and Germany.

I have been singing and playing piano all of my life. I took my first music lesson I was just three years old I never looked back! After high school I earned my Bachelor of Music Performance and my Master of Music. I attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. It was in Louisiana where I began my teaching career, just over ten years ago.

After returning to Michigan, I began teaching K-12 music in both public and private school settings. I currently maintain a private studio in addition to teaching voice part-time at Oakland Community College and I teach piano through a community outreach program.

I am a singer with over 10 years of classical training and have been teaching voice for several years. I have performed in opera, oratorio, musical theater, jazz, folk and Irish ensembles. I can teach repertoire in French, German, Italian and Irish Gaelic. I can also teach beginning piano which is great for some of the younger students who aren't ready for full voice lessons and want to combine both.
I have years of experience singing professionally. I have been lucky enough to tour North America, Asia and Europe with different Irish groups form small bands to performing 8 shows a week in the touring company of the Broadway show Riverdance.
Singing is a huge part of who I am, I have been doing it since before I can remember and I love sharing what I have learned with my students.

I am a patient, enthusiastic teacher in the following areas: piano, violin, cello, drums, music history, and music theory. I have taught vocal and instrumental music in both Catholic and Public schools, and in after-school programs, for 20 years, and have been giving private lessons for 9 years. My name is Erin, and I'm a professional brass instrumentalist and singer who has been gigging and teaching lessons in the metro area for more than ten years.

I was classically trained in music performance and pedagogy at Wayne State University, with a focus on French horn performance and a secondary focus in classical singing. I am a current member of the horn section of the Lake St. Clair Symphony Orchestra.
