Adam is an Ohio-born musician, with a wide set of skills as a performer, educator, theorist, collaborator, and composer. Adam earned his Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from Wright State University (Dayton, OH) in 2009. In 2011, he completed his Master of Music - also in Saxophone Performance - at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Lincoln, NE), where he was awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistant-ship in both the saxophone studio and music theory department. After graduating from UNL, Adam served as the Adjunct Instructor of Saxophone at Doane College (Crete, NE) for the 2011-12 academic year.

When I was growing up I thought music was like magic and that only special people with super-human powers could play. I would think to myself, "How are they doing that? I would never be able to play music in a million years!" It wasn't until I was 14 I discovered guitar magazines and a method of reading called guitar tablature that I realized anybody can learn guitar! With determination, patience, and practice I learned as many songs and techniques from my heroes (The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin) as I could.
