I have worked as a music educator for several years, to children of all ages, ensuring that they grow to learn and love music. I have taught piano lessons privately, in home and at music schools. I also worked for a music conservatory, bringing music assemblies about the orchestra to elementary schools.

I began piano lessons at a young age, entering Booker T. Washington H.S. for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, focusing on Classical Piano. Then I earned a Bachelor's of Music from Loyola University in New Orleans, majoring in composition and minoring in jazz piano. I performed in venues across the city with various jazz and pop groups. Based in Austin, Texas, the "Live Music Capital of the World," she offers voice, piano, songwriting and DJ'ing lessons to students from 5-105 and she specializes in sculpting her lessons to the strengths and desires of each individual student. Her students range from beginning to advanced levels, and they sing and play a multitude of musical styles, including classical, pop, rock, r 'n' b, country, folk, singer-songwriter, musical theater, blues and more.

I, Glenn Michael, a native Texan, am a recent graduate of the University of Texas College of Fine Arts with a concentration in audio recording, piano performance, and percussion. I am 23 years of age, and live and breathe music. I have a deep set musical ability and love for music and have been playing passionately since a very young age. I'm a certified elementary educator and professional musician with decades of experience and a tremendous passion for music. I moved 2,000 miles from my home in Boise, ID to be part of the thriving music community of Austin TX. Along the way I've played with such legends as the Flatlanders, Charlie Robison, Alejandro Escovedo, Chuck Prophet, Kelly Willis, Jimmy LaFave and many others. I've toured all over the world as a member of major-label acts and as a solo artist. I've produced albums for several recording artists and have had my own songs recorded and released numerous times.

What all this translates to is that I have a lifetime of experience in the music world that I'd love to share with those interested in learning more. My name is Jordan and I have been playing and writing music for about 15 years. I have studied and performed classical guitar, rock, country and blues. While playing the guitar is one passion, writing songs is another. Both of these were studied even further while completing my B.A. at Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. I have played over 150 dates in the last year and have performed in front of more that 3,000 people. I love music, the creative process, and I especially love watching students grow into their own artistry with the techniques we learn in our lessons.

I have been playing guitar since August 1992. I cut my teeth on the alternative music that was popular at the time (Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Nirvana) but soon began to focus on earlier movements, specifically the playing styles and mindsets of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. I formed a band in 1996 and began gigging in Austin and throughout Texas. During this time, I immersed myself in jazz and did everything I could to bring the sonic palettes of Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis into my playing, even taking up saxophone and piano in order to better understand what they were doing.

I eventually moved back to my home town of Lubbock, where I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in English with a minor in Music, having played guitar and saxophone in the Jazz Band in addition to taking several classes in theory. Whitney started singing professionally at the age of 14 with Six Flags Theme Parks. Since then she has been in Branson, Mo and traveled the world singing on several different cruiselines. Doing so has given her the opportunity to teach voice to people of all talent levels and all walks of life. She now resides in San Antonio, Texas where she performs at and teaches vocal for Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
