Sheerah comes from a family of trained singers and instrumentalists. Her passion for singing began at the tender age of four as her teachers, peers, and church family took notice. She joined her local church youth and young adult choir as well as the Unity Community Combination Choir, under the direction of her mother.
By the time Sheerah reached high school, she auditioned and joined the prestigious Piedmont Women's Ensemble, the top female chorus in the school, and participated in choral competitions in various states throughout the nation including New York. She was chosen among others to audition and perform with the Mars Hill College Festival Honors Choir. At the end of the 2001-2002 school year, she was awarded the Outstanding Contribution In Choral Arts award by her choral instructor, Mrs. Deborah Lutz. My name is Ted and I love to teach music. Mostly I enjoy being able to offer back what was given to me when I was a student. A solid skills foundation combined with fun and enjoyment will keep you interested and dedicated to your instrument.
As a guitarist I have spent years doing "session" studio work out of the northern new york music scene in and out of my own production company, Panic Room Productions. I first attended SUNY Oneonta and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry and then went on to start my production company specializing in producing local singer songwriters. This allowed me to become somewhat of a chameleon, having to assume many different playing styles in order to meet the needs of the artists I was producing. Privately I have taught instrument instruction since 2004.
While not recording or teaching I take care of my two Siberian Huskies and spend time with my very artsy wife who loves math, designs dresses, and creates dog collars....

Megan is a soprano described as being “blessed with a powerful coloratura and lovely vibrato.” In addition to teaching voice lessons, Megan has performed concert and operatic roles all over the US and Europe to include Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palace of Versailles and is quickly becoming a sought after soprano for lyric coloratura roles.

Megan has gained quite a following as a vocal teacher and credits her technique to her current voice teacher, Glenn Siebert, where she studies with him at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. In addition to her studies at UNCSA, where she has received numerous vocal scholarships, Megan also holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. Megan believes possessing a firm understanding of the anatomy of the human body and voice enables her to better use her instrument and thus incorporate that knowledge into her teaching.

Pianist and singer Phillip F. started learning to play the piano at age 6. Growing up he competed and placed highly in many competitions including playing with the Symphony Orchestra in his home town of Spartanburg, SC after winning it's concerto competition at the age of 17. In college he took piano from Dr. Charles Fugo at the University of South Carolina and also started taking voice lessons from Tonya Currier and Walter Cuttino. While still in college he worked with The South Carolina Opera company for a season as a member of the ensemble and as Chorus Master.
Since college, he has worked with different theater and opera companies as a lead actor and as a musician.
He has many years of teaching experience with piano at all experience levels.

I have taught piano and music theory privately in the Greensboro/High Point area for the past 21 years. I have taught students from age 5 through adults, from beginners to intermediate and advanced students. I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds and have taught public, private, and homeschool students. I’ve had many students through the years that have gone on to pursue music degrees and careers.

For the past seven years, I have been the Music Director/Accompanist at a church in Jamestown, NC. I lead worship and accompany the praise team, choir, soloists, small ensembles, and congregational singing.
