Music is my life and air. I started playing the drums when I was 12 years old. I played in every band and music ensemble I could throughout junior high, high school, and college. I have played in bands outside of school with music styles ranging from Rock, Punk, Hardcore, Metal, and Hip Hop. Since 2008, I have been teaching private drum set lessons and marching percussion to students of all ages and backgrounds, including Special Needs. Recently, I attended the University of Texas at Arlington where I furthered my education in music teaching, music theory, performance, and percussion. Greg has been playing drums since he received his first drum kit at the age of 8. His parents helped Greg nourish his abilities by enrolling him in private lessons and starting him in the school band program (which I see has an important aspect to learning, but not necessary). During his junior and high school years, Greg participated in concert bands, youth orchestra, marching band, and played in a variety of high school musicals.
