My name is Gabriel. I have been playing and teaching for over 25 years both piano and Voice. As a Music Major and Christian Education major at Johnson Bible College I not only learned the skills needed to be a musician but also how to teach what I had learned.

As a Student you will find that learning to play and sing can be fun and easy. I always make my lessons enjoyable and I add humor, games and other instruments to enhance your learning experience.

I am both a musician and song writer. I have a great time teaching and work great with both Children and adults. I love it when working with people and that "Light" comes on when they realize "I really learned something." I live for those moments.

I have worked with students of all levels. I even work with children with special needs. So no matter what you would like to do with your music, play for enjoyment, compose music, sing, for church or professionally I can help you get there.

I have a degree in Music Performance concentrating on viola. I have mainly studied classically and performed in many different ensembles including string quartet, orchestra and a rock band for a little while. I have lots of experience teaching and can help you learn your favorite song by ear, or teach you the notes and the theory! I have performed on violin too and I teach both instruments with the same passion. Also, I am learning how to fiddle too! It's important to keep challenging yourself, even as a teacher!

Since beginning his teaching career in 1974 David has taught 7000 people how to play guitar! Some aspiring only to play at home for fun and others to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.



David F. has also taught advanced guitar and music theory to several professional musicians who already play other instruments fluently including Oscar nominee Scott Rogness, who co-wrote and performed the songs featured in the movie That Thing You Do. Scott had this to say about his study with David:



"I studied with David for about 8 months. Although proficient on keyboards, a singer and songwriter; I had never learned the guitar. I knew a lot about the guitar by osmosis, but technically was green. David let me look at the guitar in a whole new way, using infinite variations on basic chords, showed me how to move and follow vocal melodies and challenged me to SEE what I was playing. All at the speed of thought."



Scott Rogness

Cameron is a musician, teacher, and worship leader. He recently moved from Anaheim, CA 9 years ago to achieve a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music at Belmont University and now resides in Nashville, TN.

Since 2004 I have gigged, recorded, and wrote/ co-wrote music in Nashville, TN. When I graduated in 2008 I went on the road for a couple years with an artist named Dave Hunt when I returned from the road I wasn't quite sure what to do next. I decided that I might enjoy teaching so for the 4 years i have taught around 30-35 students a week and also teach high school music history and music theory. I simply use the college curriculum that I received and fine tune it for students from all levels of playing (basically like getting a college music lesson for much, much cheaper!)

I am a Nashville session musician, sideman and music teacher. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music with a Composition and Arranging Emphasis from Belmont University and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Music at MTSU. Coming from a family of Classical and Jazz musicians, I have been exposed to music my whole life. Over the years I have had the opportunity to play and record with many great bands and artists ranging from Country/Bluegrass to Rock to Jazz. I teach all genres of guitar, bass, banjo ukulele and mandolin.

Currently finishing my bachelors at TSU for percussion performance. I have always had a deep passion for music and I want to share that passion with everyone! I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to music at a young age, I taught myself how to play drum set and was performing in middle school before I ever had my first lesson. Although I am not saying that lessons are very important, my struggles when I first started learning makes me the teacher I am today. I understand what it is like to not be able to play an instrument and we can get over those hurtles together, trust in music. Together we can break open the doors to and find out what music really means to you.

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.
I have studied many types of singing and education.
My favorite singing styles include: musical theatre, commercial, and opera.

I love playing the drums.
I love teaching punk, pop, auxiliary percussion, contemporary, and hip hop.

I plan on getting my Master's Degree in Performance and Choreography.
Other hobbies include:
building bikes, skateboarding, drawing, getting tattooed, and hanging out with friends.

I teach all ages, from beginners to advanced students. Learn to read or play by ear. Just want to learn a few of your favorite songs...we can do that too.

Private teaching: Scores of students over the last twenty years.
Performing: Decades as band member, leader and solo performances. I have worked with Herbie Hancock, Mary Wells, Greg Kihn and Jessie Colin Young, to name a few.

I have taught guitar professionally for over 25 years, for all ages from 4, to retired seniors. At one point I was teaching over 80 students per week. I have had students go on to sign major label recording deals and graduate from such prestigious schools as Berklee and G.I.T. I have also taught summer school Rock camps including one sponsored by Bootsy Collins.

As a performer I have performed with Bootsy Collins, hit song-writer, Anthony Smith, and jammed with Lita Ford as I auditioned for her band and was down to the final 8. I play and teach a very wide range of styles ranging from Rock, Pop, Modern Country, Metal, Flamenco, Gypsy, Celtic, and other World/Ethnic styles. I am well versed in both electric and acoustic and is very much at home with a pick or fingerstyle

I've been playing guitar for most of my life. I started playing at age ten and teaching privately at fourteen. In 2004 I was accepted to Berklee College of Music on a scholarship and while there I became well-versed in a wide variety of guitar playing styles, including Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Metal.

I earned my music degree at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music with a degree in guitar performance and I'm currently getting my Master's in guitar performance from Belmont University.

Hey! My name is Cole. I am a 22 year old Nashville musician fresh out of college. I can remember my first guitar lesson 12 years ago... On day one we listened to my favorite album and started working towards learning one of my favorite songs. I have continued my life with a passion for guitar that started on my first lesson. My goal is to give students that same experience where their passions meet the guitar. Since 2004, I have been playing in numerous bands, recording albums, and going on tour with national touring artists. I have also taught beginner/intermediate guitar lessons for the last year. Teaching guitar lessons and seeing musicians trained to pursue their dreams is a huge passion of mine! I have a lot of modern experience, both on stage and in the classroom, that I draw from in each lesson.
