My passion for music is the most pervasive quality of my personality. Consequently, passing that passion on to others is what brings me the most joy in life. My goal is to spread the love and appreciation for this unique and transcending art form through guidance, performance, and instruction. As my student, you will receive exactly what you (or your child) want out of the lessons-you are the one controlling what you want from them (be it any style of music, professional track or just for fun, music theory, and performance) and I am there to provide it. Music is nothing short of extremely fun and completely liberating.

I have always loved to sing and play guitar and piano starting from a young age, and I never gave up my determination and passion for performing. In middle and high school I did many musicals (Jekyll and Hyde, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oliver, Miss Saigon, Little Shop of Horrors, Footloose, Kiss Me Kate, and Cats) and sang in the choir...

I began singing at age 7 and have since developed interests in studying pop, rock, jazz, opera, acting, and musical theater. I have played leading roles in several operas and musicals in Southern California and I continue to perform and study music. I recently graduated from the University of Redlands- which I attended on a music scholarship- with my Bachelor's degree in Music. I have also done several concerts, opera scenes, competitions (winning music scholarships and theater awards), and worked as a singer at churches, restaurants, and performing bands. With this experience under my belt I feel a duty to pass on my knowledge to students. I carry a passion to help people develop their abilities and make them their own. I truly believe that if someone wants something out of life then they WILL achieve it with dedication, perseverance, confidence, and by having FUN doing it!

With many years of experience in both piano and vocal performance in Los Angeles and in England and my teaching in the Inland Empire, my students experience a rich and rewarding time of learning.

I received my formal education in piano performance from the Royal Academy Of Music in London and in Rhodesia. I also attended the Kwanagoma College Of music in Rhodesia and studied organ under the famous Dr. Olaff Axelson of Germany.

I also attended the University Of Redlands where I studied piano pedagogy.

I studied voice with Suzann Luckather of the Alhambra Academy Of Music in Los Angeles and also with Maestra Marya Basaraba, director of the California Philharmonic 200 voice chorus.

I further studied with the international vocal coach and concert pianist, Armin Gazulamian.

My current vocal coach is the world famous tenor, Guiltiero Negrini of the Metropolitan Opera House New York.

As a vocal teacher I focus on the correct method to singing that helps keep your voice beautiful and healthy.
I earned my bachelors degree in music education with an emphasis in vocals. I learned music appreciation, theory, history, choral singing and classical voice training.
I love music and cannot picture life without it. Music is an expression of life! I also love to teach music to others as I feel I'm passing on a great gift.

I was trained abroad & performed to a variety of audiences of different cultures. My experiences helped me understand music as a passion & as a genre. It inspired me to share those skills & experiences to young students, musicians, actors and music enthusiasts to professional artists. I am Executive Director of Southland Opera, a growing and flourishing arts organization that specializes in education outreach and commissioning new works. I also tour nationally as a solo/principal soprano and have worked locally with companies like Los Angeles Opera, Opera Pacific, Opera a la Carte and many other Southern California performing arts organizations. I have a BA in vocal performance from Cal Poly Pomona and have worked as a professional singer and teaching artist for the last twenty-five years. I am well-versed in nearly all music styles from classical to contemporary/pop. I am currently active in both piano accompaniment, vocal performance with the Pacific Chorale, and directing a very active north orange county community choir.

I've been involved in the world of singing for many many years. I studied vocal music at university and am currently obtaining Teaching Credential in Secondary Music Education. I have studied classical vocal technique at the professional level for 5 years, as well as Broadway, jazz and other musical styles. I love teaching and I'm always excited to get new students.
