Hi! I am a classically trained pianist originally from Syracuse, NY. I graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA where I studied piano under Professor Alec Chien. I also enjoyed playing the French horn and percussion with the Allegheny Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble.

I have performed numerous piano solo recitals, as a featured pianist with the Allegheny Wind Ensemble, in piano duos, a piano quartet, small instrumental groups and in the pit orchestra for musical productions. I know the skills and technique needed to play as a soloist and in different types of groups. I am eager to share this with aspiring pianists.

I have 4+ years experience teaching private lessons to young children and 3 years experience in teaching fun group EZ play organ classes to senior citizens. My senior year I was also a substitute teacher for beginning class piano at Allegheny College.

I've studied classical bass performance at major music schools on the east coast and in the midwest. I've studied and worked with musicians from many of the great orchestras around the world.

Hello! I am currently a student at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am pursuing a Master Degree in Trombone Performance. I study Trombone with Peter Sullivan of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Prior to moving to Pittsburgh in the Summer of 2011, I was studying Music Education at Youngstown State University.

I have a great love of performing in many different styles and venues, from Symphony Orchestras to Drum and Bugle Corps, to Jazz Big Bands. I am a former member of the World Class Drum and Bugle Corps, Phantom Regiment, and was in the group as a Euphonium player when we won the DCI 2008 World Championship with our Award Winning Show, "Spartacus". My name is Cara R., I'm 22, a recent college graduate of Grove City College with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. Flute was my main instrument, but i also play piano too. I've played flute for 12 years and piano for 7. This is my first time teaching, but my dream job would be to teach lessons from my home. I am a professional percussionist and recording engineer with a Bachelors in Music Technology from Duquesne University. I have been playing for 14 years and am versed in in many drumming styles including rock, funk, jazz, afro-cuban, and brazilian. As a recording engineer I have recorded every genre from classical to metal. I cover everything from sound theory and physics to hands on application.
