Originally from Rome, Italy, Elisabetta immersed herself in musical and classical studies since an early age. Traveling with her family, she had the opportunity to experience the most prestigious music productions in Europe and the United States. The choice to be an active part of the music world as a professional was inevitable and only natural.
She attained a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Teaching, from the Conservatory of Music Refice, Italy.
She developed a long career teaching music, providing music education instruction, encompassing practice of an instrument, history of music, and music theory. She taught classes with approximately twenty-five students, maintaining a sharp, consistent focus on correlating music to academics.

I've been teaching full time since 2005, and I can teach players of all ages and all levels, in most styles. I have also taught bass students as well as music theory and songwriting concepts.

I've been playing guitar for 19 years. I started at the age of 13 with my dad's nylon string classical guitar and a book of chords, and spent several years teaching myself and learning songs by ear.

When I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to study music, but was determined to take formal lessons and learn theory before applying to music colleges. I took theory courses at Northampton Community College while studying jazz concepts with Lehigh Valley area guitar teachers Paul Demarest and Frank Flandorffer.

I believe that progressive teaching must employ constructive pedagogical strategies to foster meaningful musical experiences for students to build and to exhibit competence. My pedagogical model is comprised of a student-centered approach to produce attainable challenges and to affect affirmative changes that will physically, technically, and emotionally enrich each student’s performance.

During instruction, I exercise scaffolding methods to facilitate the students’ zone of proximal development and innovative questioning to augment students’ cognitive thinking and critical thinking skills. As a younger brother at the age of five, I began studying the piano because my older sister did. After my foundation in music strengthened I fell in love with the trumpet. At first, each note took time to develop and I enjoyed the challenge. The trumpet allowed me to travel all over the Southeast later in life and even to China with a 1940's Radio Show. I am an extremely experienced Cellist and Guitarist with nearly ten years of performing and teaching experience. I have been playing guitar since the age of five and cello since the age of eight, and have performed all over New York, Ohio, and North Carolina, as well as Italy. I started playing drums in my parents' basement when I was 9 years old. It was just me, a stereo, and a bunch of cardboard boxes I made into my first drumset. Every day, I listened to to my favorite songs over and over again to figure out how to play them. To me, there was nothing more awesome in the world than music.

Since then my musical journey has taken me far and wide. I've studied percussion and composition with world class teachers, toured Europe, composed music for commercials, co-written award winning songs, and performed with a variety of artists at such venues as the Hard Rock Cafe, BB King's, World Cafe, 55 Bar, The Living Room, The Bitter End, and many others. I am an experienced professional opera singer who enjoys all styles of singing. I also have a strong professional education background that allows me to carefully assess the needs of each student and then create clear, attainable goals for the student's success. Roland R was born and raised in New York City. He started playing drums at the ripe age of 12. Throughout his schooling, Roland was a member of Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, and Drum Corps. He eventually started to explore playing music outside of school with friends and independent musicians around New York City. Roland's teaching "career" started about 7 years ago, when his baby cousins took an interest in banging on pots and pans with wooden spoons. His interest in helping others develop their ability to express themselves eventually evolved into in-studio lessons with children and adults of all skill levels. Music is my foundation, motivation, and inspiration. From my first music-making experiences in high school playing drum set student, to my days as a Music Therapy student at the John J. Cali School of Music, I am constantly searching for opportunities to make music and learn more about music.

In my search of musical opportunities of I have the great pleasure of playing with many different people, in many different musical genres ranging from Jazz Rock to Funk, all the way to Classical, and even to music from across the globe as a Tabla, Riqq, and Mbira student.

Throughout college, and following graduation I worked as a private music instructor developing lesson plans and helping my students develop their relationship with music while reaching their musical goals.

As a Board Certified Music Therapist I have also had the great fortune of working with all different kinds of people, from 5 to 100 and from all over the developmental spectrum find ways to make music.
