1. Music and Arts Center (http://stores.musicarts.com/corona) – This is our local Sam Ash-esque music shop to find a good selection of sheet music, how-to books, and instruments. If you’re looking for a pitch pipe to accompany you in your singing lessons or a new song to learn with your new TakeLessons teacher, the Corona Music Center is a good place to start.

2. Live From Memphis Piano Bar (http://www.livefrommemphispianobar.com/) – This wonderful bar and restaurant feel like it was plucked from the streets of Memphis. Expect a wide variety of quality entertainment six days a week, from an all-request, sing-along dueling piano show to a headlining concert to a country band! Take a gander, as there’s a good chance you could find yourself performing there!

3. Rockefellas (http://rockefellasbar.com) - If you’re of age and enjoy the dive bar vibe, wonderful live bands strut their stuff on the Rockefellas stage. If you’re a frontman or woman of a band, this is a wonderful gig place for your shows to show off what you’ve learned in your lessons!

4. The Vibe (https://www.facebook.com/TheVibeBarAndGrill) – this Riverside hotspot for the college-age crowd near University of California, Riverside is a great place to discover local R&B, hip hop, pop, and rock talent. Head out for a Friday with your friends and you may find a new artist for collaboration in the future!

5. Fox Theatre and Riverside Municipal Auditorium (http://www.riversidelive.com) – These recently renovated venues are wonderful places to take in a musical or concert. Both theatres bring in top-tier performers, so make sure to check the calendar to see when your favorite show or artist is coming to town!

6. Circle City Chorale/Circle City Singers (http://circlecitychorale.org) - A relatively new choir founded in January 2010, the Circle City Chorale is comprised of singers 18+ from Corona and surrounding areas. They have performed at Corona's 4th of July parade & festivities at Santana Park, at the Empty Bowls fundraiser in Norco, Corona's Day of the Child event, Corona's Tree Lighting Ceremony, Riverside’s Festival of Lights event, and the tree lighting ceremony at Crossroads Church. They have grown in size, repertoire, and audience attendance at their seasonal shows every year, and are a wonderful group to showcase your love for singing!
