Rachel B. holds bachelor and master degrees in Vocal Performance from Vanderbilt University and The University of Kentucky. Most recently she played Mayor Matilda Hyde in Arizona Broadway’s production of All Shook Up. Operatic roles include Meg Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Emma Jones in Street Scene, Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Arnalta in L’incoronazione di Poppea. Some musical theater credits include Carlotta in Yeston’s Phantom, Ms. Darbus in High School Musical, Nettie in Carousel, Martha in White Christmas, and Eulalie in The Music Man.

Miss B. loves people, and music, and theater. She is truly blessed to be doing what she loves for a living and can’t wait to share her experience and passion for what she does with you/your child. Let’s make music together!

I have worked as a professional musician my whole life; and have been a teacher and coach for countless musicians throughout the years. I find great satisfaction and pride in helping any student who comes to me find their musical side or inside, and to begin the work of mastering the beautiful and demanding craft of piano playing. Playing the piano is a life-long pursuit with many great rewards; it requires patience, discipline, a positive attitude, and expert guidance (this last is my unique contribution to the mix). I can teach classical, jazz, and many other styles.

My name is Rusty, and I want to share a bit about myself. I have been a Guitarist for 25 years. I teach what I've learned from years of selling and managing music stores, Building and repairing guitars, and working with other musicians on stage and in the studio, Whether you are considering lessons for your own pleasure or dream of performing in front of hundreds...(or thousands !) of people, I can take you there. I have played well over 2000 shows, both as a solo performer or in one of the many Bands I've played with over the years. You will not find a teacher who comes close to that kind of "real-world" experience. I want to give you the "whole picture", A student needs more than a teacher or critic, a student needs a mentor, A teacher willing, able, qualified and experienced ...not just teaching at a Music Store or "Academy". I have been teaching young people and adults how to play musical instruments for over 20 years. A lot of my students are well on their way to a rewarding future with music, some as professionals and others as hobbyists. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a professional performer who has worked in a wide variety of styles and I have a Masters degree in music composition and theory.
One of my main specialties is working with very young students and total beginners. There is a special skill to teaching young children that can only be developed through experience. For the older student, or the student who already has a musical background my specialty is helping you learn the styles that have always been of most interest to you. I can also help older students gain a broad understanding of music through some basic music theory.

I have had a fairly diverse musical background, including playing with bands and orchestras, as well as participating in choral groups and opera. I have a master's degree in music performance for wind conducting, and a bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on piano performance. I have taught private lessons off and on for several years now but have always been successful wherever I went.

I love music, which should be obvious because if I didn't I wouldn't be writing this now! I also have a real passion for sharing my knowledge and experience with others, both failures and successes. I believe everyone has creative potential, and I believe music is a real universal art form that anyone can tap into if they want. Making and creating music should also be fun!

I have played piano since age 5, saxophone since age 13, and guitar since age 15. I received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Memphis, a Masters of Education from Union, and have taught music for Memphis City Schools for the past 6 years.

I love and play a wide variety of music including Classical, Contemporary, Rock, Folk, and Praise & Worship music.

Clint has been throughout the United States performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall, and the Grand Ole Opry! He loves working with people that loves to make music! Clint believes making music should be fun while disciplined!
