About Me
LeBaron is a multi-talented Urban Gospel Recording Artist. As a vocalist, songwriter, keyboardist & producer, LeBaron skillfully incorporates years of music involvement and a variety of influences to passionately present the gospel message in a very current and soulful manner. LeBaron is a proud graduate of Cheyney University. It was there that he began honing his skills as a Music Major with a concentration on Voice. He also became one of the youngest Gospel Choir directors in the institution's history. He culminated his studies in receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. For many years after graduating from college, he preferred functioning as an unknown musician that helped an array of musicians of various genres on their performances and recording projects. With a style uniquely his own, LeBaron made his departure from obscurity with the release of his first ever solo single "Already Done"! It is now being played on the airways throughout the country and abroad. He's...

About Me
Having graduated from Westminster Choir College, I have learned many techniques for helping students to understand their voices better. I have taken voice lessons myself for the past 8 years, and still do take them. This gives me the opportunity to learn new and different techniques. As every student is different, there are many different techniques that can help the student to find their voice.
One style of teaching that I really feel is important when discussing the voice is the idea of just singing. Often times, as was my experience, when people hear voices they like they will mimic that sound. The problem with that is that the person will start singing with a voice that does not belong to them. That is usually the first goal for a voice teacher to achieve, is to find the students voice again.
After that it is teaching the student technique and helping them through the growing process of their voice. This technique is for the healthiest kind of singing...

David is a very understanding teacher. He teaches the material in a very friendly way but also pushes me to be my best. Sometimes I think he is a little too nice and has to really push me and work hard. He is always on time which is great!

About Me
I am a jazz performance major on the upright bass at Temple University. Yet, I am also a guitar player and a folk rock musician that plays around the Philadelphia area. I have been playing music my whole life and one of the most important things for me is to share my musical knowledge and abilities with others. This is a concept that several of my fantastic teachers have passed on to me. Music is emotional and it would be nice if everyone was emotional about it. We might be Phillies fans, but we still understand the finer concepts of life. The following genres of music that I can cover are as follows:
Guitar- rock, blues, jazz, folk, songwriting, bluegrass, funk, country, hip-hop
Electric Bass- same as guitar
Upright Bass- classical, jazz, folk/country, blues, rock
There is no better feeling for me than to teach you something. You walk away from a lesson having accomplished something and I could even learn something from you as well.

Nicole B,
I am being stretched!
Ross is an innovative, passionate musician, and it is a privilege to learn from him. In our lessons, he is very friendly and professional. He has a flexible approach, and he is good at gauging strengths and weaknesses and how to progress and improve. I enjoy that I am being stretched in my technique, my music theory, etc. I always walk away from a lesson feeling that I have been challenged and have also been encouraged.

Andrew is an outstanding teacher. I have already become a lot more confident in my playing, and even begun to learn some songs. Andrew not only is fluent in the language of guitar, but also in the teaching of it. He seems to know exactly what to say and do to help me along when I am stuck. I appreciate all of his help, and any improvement I have made is owed to Andrew's remarkable teaching. Thanks!

About Me
I have been teaching music for 16 years. I grew up on the 2nd floor of my father's music store in Central PA and have been around music my whole life. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of the Arts where I studied jazz guitar with Pat Martino, Jimmy Bruno, Steve Giordano, and Tom Giacabetti. I was one of the original teachers during the formative years at the Paul Green School of Rock Music where I later went on to be the Music Director of the Philadelphia and Downingtown Schools. During that time, I helped many students prepare and get accepted to music schools, ran and developed music summer camps, and organized concerts where the students performed the music of Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, and many more of rock's finest band at every major venue in Philadelphia.
I recently started playing mandolin on my own - and decided to take lessons to make sure that my technique was correct. -- All I can say is that Nero is the best music teacher I have ever had - not to mention, a gifted musician. He makes learning fun, and his approach and patience allows you to easily pick up new techniques and skills. I hope to take lessons with Nero for a long time!!!!

Craig K,
My first Flamenco Guitar lesson
Had my first lesson with Nero. Nero was very patient and the lesson progressed at a comfortable pace. He didn't bombard me with too much information yet identified learning moments at relevant times during the session that increased the value of our time. I played clarinet for about 6 years over 17 years ago and haven't touched a musical instrument since so I feel like a beginner... He was sensitive to my inexperience and led with the session with a relaxing demeanor.

Tyler W,
Great for a beginner
My experience with Nero has been great. I have very little musical background and have always been a bit nervous about learning an instrument at my age. Nero has put that all to rest. He has been very responsive to my ability and has moved at a good pace. Each lesson he has taken the time to explain each chord and how it relates overall. He is calm and completely understanding of all music ability. I would recommend him to anyone living in and around Philadelphia looking to learn the ukulele!

About Me
Learning music, especially at a young age, can have a positive impact in life. From simply playing music in the home to performing music for large audiences, the basic goal is the same: the enjoyment of being a proficient musician. I have written a bit about my experience and how I can use this to help you to become a great musician.
I began studying music when I was 8 years old. My early lessons taught me not only about music but about music teaching. As a result of these experiences, I vowed to teach students music that is meaningful to them.
Moving along, in high school I played in rock bands with my friends. I can never stress how important it is to play with other people. I always encourage my students to form bands, join music groups in school, or just find a friend to jam with. Not only does this raise the level of musicality, it is a great motivational tool.
After high school, I studied music at...

About Me
I am 35 years old, and have been a musician for over 25 years. I began, like many, playing in my middle school band. I attended a Performing Arts School throughout my high school years, where I studied Classical and Jazz Guitar, Music Theory, Ear Training, and many other facets of music. I also studied privately with various guitar instructors, most notable Kyle Hildenbrand, a Berklee grad and film scorer for Universal Studios. In college I also took education and psychology classes which have proven very helpful in my approach to teaching.
I have performed in many ensembles and bands, playing both cover songs and writing original music. Blues, country, hard-rock, and even a jazz quartet. Currently I write for and perform in a folk - rock trio.
Playing in so many different circumstances, has been very beneficial working as a teacher. My students are all very different, not only in the way that they learn but also in the style of music they wish to play. I take pride in being...
