Outstanding Piano Instructor

She is attentive, listens to what the student needs; the instructor is outstanding because unlike other instructors I've taken from, she gives me what I want to play and I learn basics which are essential. Other instructors have a set way about teaching and does not take the student in mind. I LOVE this instructor! Thanks for asking....

Great instructor overall

Marty was a great instructor to me. Taught me a lot in the 4 lessons I had with him. Very professional and knowledgable in Bass. Unfortunately because my schedule changing I could not keep him as an instructor. My only gripe would be that his studio room gets a little cramped and my guitar sometimes would hit things. Other than that. I would definitely recommend him.

About Nicole

Nicole began her musical journey in Long Island, New York when she began piano lessons at age five. While receiving training on piano, she joined her elementary school orchestra in the 3rd grade and quickly soared with violin. During this period, Nicole began learning music theory and the art of reading music. As a fourth grader, Nicole would go on to conduct and tune every instrument in her orchestra during rehearsal. She always competed and won many NYSMA competitions for violin while attending music seminars and workshops. It was then that her teacher realized she had a gift. Nicole continued with piano lessons and began teaching herself guitar. Later, after college, she bought herself a drum set and began to teach herself drums.
As an adult, Nicole studied to become an ...

To describe Mercedes in one word: "Awesome!" She is very patient and encouraging. I started taking singing lessons later in life and have always been very shy about it. Not only has she helped me to break out of my shell, but she is extremely knowledgeable and I have learned so much. She has been gifted with this wonderful talent in music and voice and I am truly blessed to have her as my teacher.

She is wonderful! She really knows how to reach children which is that she has such a gentle soul. She welcomed us strangers to her home and opened my son up to several types of music he never thought about before. We are leaving the area which is why we had to say goodbye. She is absolutely meant to teach.

wonderful teacher

Mercedes is an enthusiastic and patient teacher! My children have only been taking piano lessons from her for less than 6 months, but there is a significant improvement in their abilities already. She encourages them to play with feeling, never overwhelms them with too much work, and is always so upbeat at the lessons.

She is Cuban, so sometimes you have to listen carefully, because of her accent, but she speaks English well.
Christina C. Palm Harbor, FL

I've been teaching music for over 10 years. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to begin reading playing fun single line short songs and as time goes on you'll be able to play beautiful songs with both hands. I specialize in classical, Jazz, Rock, and Klezmer style music, and I typically use the Alfreds Method books. I also place strong emphasis on reading, rhythm, and finger placement, and I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Christina

I teach music lessons to both kids and adults of all playing levels and all styles including Classical and Jazz.

Christina is an excellent teacher. She is very detailed when
explaining how to play a song in the correct time signature.
I like the fact that she does not move forward until I have
learned where my problem areas are; for example timing.
I would highly recommend Christina as a piano teacher.
