About Me
Having grown up with music (my Dad was a drummer in the Navy and in several local dance bands), it’s difficult to believe I have been able to make a living doing something I have enjoyed all my life. Starting, obviously on the drums, I was involved at an early age in a marching drum and baton corp that played in numerous parades throughout the summer months. I played tenor drum and ended up playing glockenspiel, learning the two songs “Five Foot Two” and “Ain’t She Sweet.” Shortly after that I began learning to play the organ. I started out at a local music store learning things like “Alley Cat” and “Whispering,” and after a few years moving on to lessons from a local Church Organist and my career blossomed from there.
In high school I was involved in several vocal and instrumental ensembles, including Choir, Handbells, and a select smaller vocal ensemble. During this time I was cast in several musicals including “Brigadoon” and as Ali Hakim in...
