About Me

Hello! My name is Soo. I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and came to the State to further my study of music for undergrad. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with piano performance degree in may 2010. While I was in undergrad, I worked with SLU wind symphony, opera program, and countless accompanying positions with other chamber ensembles. I have been teaching piano at the university since Aug. 2006 til recently due to relocation to Orlando. I hear a lot of people saying that learning music is hard, but I firmly believe that with right guidance and motivation, learning music can be so much FUN! My main goal in teaching is to make students to love music on their own outside of lessons and pressure of practicing.

First off, thank you for taking the time to review my profile. My name is Corey and hopefully your soon-to-be guitar teacher. I have been writing and playing music for over 10 years now and studied theatre and music at the University of Central Florida. In the past, I have taught students as young as 9 years old all the way through adult students.

Orlando-based composer and guitarist Damien has made a name for himself as a writer of scores for film, theater and dance productions.;A graduate of Music Composition at SUNY Purchase (New York) and Musicology at the University College of Dublin (Ireland). Years of touring internationally and score writing has given Damien the experience and work ethic to share his musical knowledge and abilities with others. Producing 4 cds and appearing on countless others' cds and compilations; Damien can share not only his musical/theoretical talents, but his experience in producing, recording, writing, and performing live.

About Me

I have been teaching and performing for over 30 years in my home studio in the Orlando area. I teach technique, all styles/genres, stage presence, mic technique, audition, & demo CD prep,and sight-singing, to ages 7 on up. I gear the lessons to the individual students' goals and needs. I have and have had many sucessful professional and talented amateur singers grow and progress within my studio. Many of them perform in nightclub venues, theme parks, and theatres in the Central Florida area. One of my former students, just opened for Lisa Loeb's concert in downtown Orlando. This same student, John, has 2 albums of his own, and several students are signed by recording labels and touring. Students are encouraged to use their talents and regularly perform in recitals, community theatre, church, school, and community choirs, contests,& talent shows.

About Me

Alexandra has enjoyed playing the violin for the past fifteen years. She is a successful performer in the Orlando area and devotes most of her time to sharing her gift with children and adults who have a passion for music.

She has experience performing with the Canton Youth Symphony in Ohio and the Maitland Symphony Orchestra in Florida. She also has a small private ensemble for hire.

While performing is enjoyable, Alexandra finds teaching to be her true calling. Sharing her love of music and the instruments with others is extremely gratifying and she plans to continue teaching for the rest of her life.

About Me

I am a passionate performer and teacher who can help you or your child to find your inner artist, as well! In voice lessons, I will take your natural talent and help to refine it to perform in your preferred genre, whether it be Pop, Broadway or Classical. In piano, I will help the beginning student learn the fundamentals of good piano playing technique, while having fun and developing a strong love of music.

I was born and raised in the Central Florida area. As a child I always enjoyed music, spending my free time playing piano and singing in choirs. I attended Winter Park High School where I began cultivating the love of music into her craft.

Having been awarded a vocal scholarship, I spent her freshman year of undergraduate at the University of South Florida, studying under Annetta Monroe and performing with USF Chamber Singers and Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. About Me

Patrick has been playing music all his life. As a child he used to beat on pots and pans with cooking utensils. Not much has changed, as those same pots and pans are still his favorite instrument. In the course of his life he has studied every genre of music conceivable including flamenco, classical, jazz, country, Latin, ska, fusion, heavy metal and everything in between. Constantly evolving, Patrick is always learning different instruments. To date he has experience playing violin, piano, trumpet, guitar, bass, lute, cornetto, drums, and pedal steel.

Patrick earned a masters degree in information technology from the University of Florida. With that he hit the road as a stand-up comedian, where his act was a mix of monologue and guitar-based material. About Me

I began taking drum lessons at a very early age and continued on and off with various teachers for the better part of twenty years. I will always be grateful to them for the knowledge and wisdom they imparted on me and for the positive influence they have had on my life, especially the ones with whom I really bonded and who were essentially mentors to me while I studied with them.

As a teacher, there is no better feeling than seeing a student make progress and knowing that you helped him or her along the way, while at the same time not taking the credit, as it is always the student who has the harder job, who must do the real work. I always feel tremendous satisfaction when a student masters a difficult rudimentary exercise for the first time, or is able to execute a challenging rhythm pattern on the drum set. The expression on their faces often conveys pride over their achievement, and I can often sense a boost in their self-esteem. This is why I teach.

About Me

I am a classically trained musician with a B.A. in voice/piano and an M.A. in music theory. I have taught all ages and levels of students, from beginner to early advanced. I also love to play and direct handbells. I know how to encourage and motivate students to achieve their goals and become good musicians. Skills learned in music class carry over and have positive effects in all areas of a student's life.
