About Me
Kimberly is originally from Chattanooga, TN where she began taking violin lessons at age 6. She spent several years playing with the Chattanooga Youth Symphony and appeared as a soloist during her senior year in high school. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Cedarville University, her Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, her D.M. from Florida State University, and recently completed a second Master’s Degree from Kent State University with a focus in Chamber Music under the coaching of the Miami String Quartet. Along with playing second violin in the Aidan Quartet, Kim has performed in several orchestras including the Greeley Philharmonic, Fort Collins Symphony, Cheyenne Symphony, and the Tallahassee Symphony. She was also the violin coach for the Tallahassee Youth Symphony, and strings instructor at two elementary schools in the area.
