I have learned a lot with Salvador, he has helped me develop the technique necessary to play my own repertoire, he has helped prepare for my school recitals, he has trained my ear so I could match pitch the songs I like and find the pitch/chord on the guitar. Excellent teacher :).

Great, Confident and Knowledgable Instructor!

In the short amount of time I've worked with John, he has really helped me to understand the instrument, how my body and my breath effect pitch and has really helped me to overcome my concerns with picking up the Trumpet after 10 years of not playing. He relates music to me in a way that makes it understandable and encourages me to better my playing. Great instructor! Highly recommended!

About Alex

I am passionate about sharing with you all the knowledge that I've obtained from over 45 years of of studying piano with some of the best teachers available in the country. I will help you to both discover that sound image that is only yours and then to work on how to make that image come alive for you at the keyboard. I promise that working together will be a fun and inspiring adventure into that most expressive form of communications which is Music. One of the best ways to judge a teacher is by the way he plays. I am a performing teacher, still studying, and will be giving my second solo recital at The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad in February 2013 and will be playing masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and Liszt. You are, of course, invited to the ...

Danielle is one of the most kind-hearted, positive women I know. I have been taking lessons with her for about 4 months now and she has really taught me a lot about myself and getting over my insecurities about my voice tone and singing in front of others. Her knowledge of the music industry has also really helped put the process all in perspective for me. Being somewhat of a closet singer, I look forward to her guidance each week to help bring this talent and passion for singing out of me!

Roberto A. San Diego, CA

About Roberto

Hello and thanks for reading. I grew up in the musically-rich state of Texas, playing everything from ABBA to ZZ Top, and I began teaching in the San Diego area about 3 years ago. I currently teach Beginner and Intermediate Guitar at Adult Education and also teach a classes to our Navy servicemen and servicewomen.

My students are mainly busy adults, so I do not use conventional teaching techniques - I focus on getting them to play songs. Most of my Intermediate Students started with me as beginners, picking up a guitar for the first time. With a vocabulary of just a few chords and rhythms, you can play hundreds of songs!

And if you need a lesson late in the evening, I usually stay up until midnight!

* Note to pet owners - I am allergic to cats, but don't mind making ...

Mr. Roberto is a guitar teacher who specializes in tailoring class sessions for your particular guitar learning needs and strengths. My confidence in guitar playing and learning this beautiful instrument has grown so much since I took classes with him two years ago. I had taken classes before and had made some progress, now that I have learned guitar from Roberto, I just want to continue to learn more and become a great guitar and singer for many more years to come to play for my friends and family.
