I am a classically trained pianist who graduated from the Eastman School of Music under world-renowned piano pedagogue Nelita True. I started playing the piano when I was 5, and started entering competitions at 7 years old. Growing up, I've won many national piano competitions in the states and Canada and debuted with numerous professional orchestras. I started giving benefit concerts at 14 years old and was recognized by TV station WCTV as well as the Boston Globe, Andover Townsman, and Wilmington Advocate newspapers.
Besides traveling around the world to perform solo and duo, my deepest passion and devotion is teaching. When I started teaching piano, my beginner students grew an average of 2 years worth of study within the first year. I am a Columbia University Chicago graduate; I graduated with a degree in Music with a concentration in Classical Voice. I have performed in numerous of operas and musicals, as well as, sung on Gospel Cruises all around the world. In my eyes, the student is the main focus, so whatever issues, concerns or request the student may have I will treat them with priority. I am all about strengthening the natural born talent and making my students the best vocalist they can be. Hello, my name is Eric! In 2009 I completed my masters degree in vocal performance at DePaul University.
As an emerging professional artist I have had a plethora of experience on stage, singing with full orchestras, as well as diction training in Italian, French, German, and English. I love assisting all students with practical audition and performance preparation. I primarily sing classical music, however I believe the techniques learned from doing so enhance every genre of voice and have no problem teaching children, or helping musical theater, jazz, blues or pop singers.
When I first began my path in music, I started as an education major. I love children and absolutely enjoy instilling the love for music by singing traditional children's tunes that are supplemented with history lessons, basic music theory, drawing, and reading of children's literature.

Violinist Jennifer L. made a debut at age 8 the Seoul New Philharmonic Orchestra at the Seoul Arts Center in Seoul, South Korea. At the same year, she was accepted into preparatory school for gifted students at the Korea National University of the Arts. Since then, Jennifer performed recitals at Yon Sei Centennial Memorial Hall, TBC Center for the Performing Arts, Kim-Cheon and Gu-Mi Arts Centers in Korea. When she moved to the United States, she was the winner of New Trier Concerto Competition in 2008 and performed with New Trier Symphony Orchestra. She won Honorable Mention in Alex and Buono International String Competition and the winner of North Shore Scholarship Foundation in 2011. Hello one and ALL! I am currently a student at VanderCook College of Music for my degree in Music Education. I have taught lessons and have performed in various ensembles, such as the VanderCook Symphonic Band, VanderCook Collegiate Choir, VanderCook Symphonic Orchestra, VanderCook College Brass Ensemble, and the VanderCook Wind Ensemble. Over my career, I have learned and am capable of playing 17 different instruments, including percussion, bass and acoustic guitar, and singing.

I graduated in May 2009 with a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During my studies, I took one year of piano classes. I have studied the guitar for over fifteen years, and have been teaching students of all ages for the last twelve. Specializing in lead rock guitar and acoustic folk, I have had the pleasure to perform and record with over a dozen acts at a variety of venues and studios across the Chicagoland area. In addition to guitar instruction, I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2006 with a degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics, which has allowed me to work as a professional Acoustical Technician, Audio Engineer and Audio Instructor for a variety of companies in many different capacities.

I feel there is a great deal of talent in the youth of today. And that it is my job to provide a knowledge and understanding of performing arts and to help my students to develop, refine and heighten their talents. I love to teach performance techniques in voice, music, dance, and other fine arts activities. It is my goal to share my passion for performing arts with others so that they might become excited about their potential and future. Having played music for as long as I can remember (my father is an accomplished Jazz and Soul drummer), music has always been a key ingredient in my life much like eating and breathing. From playing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme on the drum set as a toddler, I have gone on to learn electric/classical/lap steel guitar, electric/upright bass, various keyboard instruments, most percussion instruments, and many old time instruments such as banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, and harmonica. I'm currently teaching myself viola.

In addition to the performing aspect of music, I am also experienced with writing/composition, recording/engineering/mixing/production, and design/manufacturing/distribution/vending of my own albums as well as those of others. Whether teaching the basics of guitar to a young child or discussing advanced harmonic concepts with an experienced adult, I strive to be the best teacher I can be. While in college I worked as an SAT tutor and received excellent reviews from my students, which I feel shows that I have an aptitude for the art of teaching itself. By nature I am friendly, enthusiastic, and very encouraging, and I try to create a safe learning environment where it is safe to make mistakes and any question is safe to ask. I began my musical training learning drums as a 12 year old and a year later began private lessons on guitar as well. In the following years, while playing in rock bands and focusing primarily on guitar and continuing practice on drums, I became interested in learning other instruments: I took harmonica lessons and taught myself how to play bass guitar and keyboards. As a teenager I also began writing my own songs and teaching myself how to record music. I also play Spanish flamenco guitar and studied with master flamenco players while living in Madrid, Spain.

Anna K. was born in Cracow, Poland. From an early age she had a deep interest in all types of music. She was encouraged by her parents and quickly developed a talent. She began her musical education at the age of seven at The Bronislaw Rutkowski State First Degree School of Music in Cracow. It was here where she first began studying piano.
In the 1998, she entered The Mieczyslaw Karlowicz State Second Degree School of Music in Cracow. Here she continued her piano education, and took up the French Horn, studying with Jacek Muzyk, who is currently Associate Principal Horn with Huston Symphony. Her passion for music resulted in the acceptance to both, the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, where she studied for two years, and later to studio of Dale Clevenger, Principal Horn of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, at the Chicago College of Performing Arts.
